I have been working at Zotec Partners full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It's all about who you work for. Like in any company there are good leaders and bad ones. It's a fast paced and challenging environment where you can grow if you want to, but you need to be willing to show a hard work ethic and enthusiasm about your position- even during the ups and downs!

    Cons

Technology teams are treated to more perks than rest of the organization; more flexible hours, team lunches, day trips, etc. The exec management team is disconnected from day to day ops yet tries to make decisions about those ops which they are not up to date on.

    Advice to Management

Put staff in authority that you trust and then let them do what they know how to do best. Give them time to succeed. Believe them when they say they need certain staffing, support, technology etc for their dept.

I worked at Zotec Partners full-time

    Pros

Great Benefits, flexible hours, great pay. Very respectable to employees. The managers were willing to work with you on just about anything. Nothing bad to say.

    Cons

Outsourced alot of work and laid employees off. Not interested in ideas of others other than management. The company was more structured before it got bought out by Zotec. Medical Management professionals.

I worked at Zotec Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The benefits were the best
    Flexible hours
    Pay was decent
    .25 cent pops
Overtime whenever they felt like giving it out

    Cons

You work in close quarters with others. They will find any reason to terminate you (I walked out), my supervisor never trained me and would randomly ask me if I knew how to do certain requirements, the CEO is in the business of conning healthcare companies out of their money, the billing system used is a joke, the director is a joke, the company is a joke

    Advice to Management

Shut down your multimillion dollar business.

    Pros

Great people who like to work hard and don't mind being held accountable for their work.

Benefits are good - employee cost hasn't gone up in years.

I've been here 8 years. I've seen a lot of change and I consider all I've seen positive.

    Cons

It's a demanding workplace. Like any place, politics can be a factor here. I think that's unnecessary.

    CEO isn't really approachable.

    Advice to Management

    Keep working to improve.

    Pros

    Casual dress, pay not bad

    Cons

No talking while at work, micromanagers, manage by crisis, do not follow billing best practices, questionable ethics, managers speak condescendingly to employees very disrespectful, constant change of focus based on current crisis to maintain client promised expectations, no flexibility

    Advice to Management

Manage don't micromanage, treat others how you would expect to be treated, take some leadership courses and management should choose their managers/leaders more wisely

    Pros

Benefits hasn't went up for the past couple of years.

    Cons

    Micro-management
    Very little personal space
    Hostile work environment
Very little opportunity to move up unless you're a favorite of leadership
Working here will make you feel like you're consistently being visually watched
People with little to no experience are in management positions solely based on who they knew
This is a borderline racist company

    Pros

Senior leadership is open to hearing and exploring new ideas when it comes to expanding and developing our services. Everyone at Zotec truly cares about our clients and the patients we serve.

    Cons

Zotec experienced some negative reviews following a fairly recent acquisition. Like during and after any acquisition, feathers are going to be ruffled.

    Advice to Management

Continue listening to your employees and hiring the right people!

    Pros

None, I don't know where these people worked. But it was not at Zotec. Management choose the elite few. If your not one of them they taunt you till you break.

    Cons

Everything from the management, work environment to the benefits. If you think a 1500 dedicated before they pay anything is good, that is sad. Because on the 16.00 a hr it sucks.

I worked at Zotec Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some great employees in Customer Service and QA depts, but there was a lack of leadership with technical knowledge or experience. Many people in middle and upper management have never worked in software before Zotec, so you will find that this company is not run like any other tech company you are used to (which are generally great places to work). If you interview here, ask them "what did you do before working here".

Learned a lot working here by being thrown into a lot of situations due to small size of team.

    Cons

Management has little experience in software development outside of Zotec Partners (business background at best, completely irrelevant background at worst and hired due to relationships with higher ups).

Pay was also lower than industry standard.

    Advice to Management

Let employees do their job, and stop micro managing. Have your employee's back to help with a (rightfully) angry customer. It is not support's fault if something is buggy, they are just there to fix it. If something becomes a "hot button" issue, the support analyst must deal with an upset customer and an upset manager until you figure it out. True leadership is helping your employee and setting expectations with the customer and helping set level expectations.
