I have been working at Zuora full-time for less than a year

      Pros

The company culture is really incredible - especially for a silicon valley company. People are professional and friendly as well. Zuora hits the balance of a startup environment with a fleshed out company mission and growth targets. New ideas are welcome here - management is open to them.

      Cons

There's no 401k match as of now

I have been working at Zuora full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      - Great company culture - Smart and driven employees - Great management and CEO - Snacks and drinks provided in the office

      Cons

      - No 401k match - No breakfast or lunch provided - Can be tough to be promoted due to external hiring

      Advice to Management

Give employees a better idea of what is required to be promoted and be more open about the process.

      I worked at Zuora

      Pros

Incredible company to work for. Worked for the finance team for 2 months- everyone was supportive and willing to help. The work was very meaningful and my supervisor provided me with direction and assistance, as well as challenged me to learn myself. Company culture is honestly so unique and wonderful. People work hard but also take time to make Zuora a fun place to work. The internship program was one of my favorite...

I feel like working for the San Mateo office (HQ) gave me the best experience. In terms of other locations, I feel like it is harder to get involved in company events and intern events.

I have been working at Zuora full-time for less than a year

      Pros

One of the best New Hire Experiences i've had. The ZeoSuccess Team is very responsive and engaging. I signed most of my new hire documents online using Docusign in a simple, efficient and easy process. Got an offer the same day as my final interview when i told them about a competing offer. Great company culture, great people and a fun and lively work environment all make Zuora one of the most dynamic companies to work...

I have been working at Zuora full-time for less than a year

      Pros

It is refreshing to be at a company where most of the people you meet seem to really subscribe (see what I did there?) to the culture and believe in the product. There is a lot of work but there is also a lot of stuff going on to try and bring in elements of fun. I also sense that the company really values their employees and tries really hard to keep them engaged by emphasizing how each person is playing an important...

My waistline is suffering. There is a ton of food all the time. No real cons yet though I am sure this place has some of the standard ones that afflict all growing companies.

      Advice to Management

Keep it up and don't get comfortable with just, "okay."

I have been working at Zuora full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Zuora is a team of the most talented and passionate people I've ever worked with in my 18+ year career. What we do everyday is hard. And our goals are sky high. We are small company that has, with the vision of industry leaders, found its way to compete with the largest traditional software and ERP companies in the world. And we are winning. The company culture is inspiring and has moved me to do the best work of my life,...

After 18 months, I'm still in the honeymoon phase. The best Con I can think of is the location.

      Advice to Management

Keep the culture as pure as it is today. Hire people who will only help push us towards our goals. And open a big San Franciso office soon!

I am a remote employee. Would be great to be closer to HQ to collaborate live. That is my only downside. Plenty of remote & weekly meetings for collaboration however.
