    I worked at Zynga full-time

    Pros

My team loved what they did, and we enjoyed each other's company.

    Cons

There were a lot of exhausting politics because there was a surprise CEO swap while I was there. Hopefully the new guy has things under control--from watching the news, it seems like he does!

The people are kind and talented. Free food. Not too stressful. As an intern, there are plenty of events and happenings to keep one motivated and interested.

    Cons

There's a sense of lack of creativity. Some projects are less exciting to work on than others.

    I worked at Zynga full-time

    Pros

    - Incredibly low bureaucracy (to order a company paid-for phone and unlimited data service, I sent an email asking for the newest Galaxy model and in a week it showed up)
    - On premises IT was always available and super helpful
    - We could easily ask for and get any software we needed as developers
    - Management up to and including the CEO was very approachable and down to earth
    - Engineering centric culture
    - All the food you could imagine and more for free
    - Hammocks for naps
    - Quarterly team outing budgets of $100/person plus lots of team prizes (we went on a trip to Hawaii)
    - Smart and very friendly teammates
    - Very flexible vacation and WFH policies - merit based culture where if you got your work done, you were given freedom how to do it.

    Cons

At the time, it felt like the company as a whole wasn't succeeding but with the recent success of CSR2 and the potential shift in direction from quantity to quality, this may be different now

    Advice to Management

Avoid getting to businessy - keep the free and down to earth culture. Mark Pincus brought this back from Don Mattrick and I hope Frank continues the trend.

    Pros

Enjoy what I do on a day to day basis. Learning a lot. Friendly and welcoming people. Professional, amicable, low-ego, low-politics, low-drama workplace. They feed me delicious lunch every day. Plus... free coffee bar!!

    Cons

    Pros

Great atmosphere and surroundings. Work/life balance is great nowadays, with many opportunities to just kick-back and enjoy hanging out with your coworkers.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Treat/hire employees well based on their talents and hard work, not based on if they know the right people or yell the loudest.
