I have been working at ad+one full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

ad+one is like family, and they really invest time and money into their employees. There is training from day one, and readily available help from your manager along the way to help learn (or finesse) the art of recruiting. The culture is pretty neat too! This is definitely a work hard play hard atmosphere with an excellent work/life balance!

    Cons

The first year in this business can be challenging because you are learning a new industry, new processes, and don’t have a lot of clients. This is ultimately a sales job so you have to be prepared to ride the waves of a commissions based job.

I have been working at ad+one full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great training. Great team. Great clients. Lots of freedom. Great casual environment.

    Cons

This is a Pro and a Con, but we are 100% commission. In the good times it is a definite Pro. In the lean times it can be challenging. The goal is to be consistent.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in technology and resources. Be open to new ways of doing things.

I have been working at ad+one full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They supply all the resources you need to succeed and care about the quality the team puts out. They will help set you up to start making strong waves in the recruiting world while making it a fun experience.

    Cons

It's easy to gain weight because of all the snacks and lunches... but if you take advantage of their free gym membership it helps.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at ad+one full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Second to none training in the recruiting industry.
Great reputation in the industry for high quality work.
Tenured, knowledgeable team of Advertising and Media Recruiters.
Learn a trade/skill where you can always earn a living for your family.
A culture that make you feel like the member of an extended family, keeps things fun/interesting and continues to push and challenge you to be the best you can.
ad+one/CPS offers a career path for a variety of individuals. If you want to be a top producing recruiter and go home and enjoy your life outside these doors, you can do that. If you have leadership/management aspirations, that is entirely up to you and it is available.
Gender diverse workplace with equal balance of men/women in leadership positions.
Your reward in this company and in this business is purely based on the effort you put in as a SELF-motivating person with discipline to do what it requires.

    Cons

Recruiting is for those who want an incentivized based compensation plan and not for those looking for a clock in/clock out, check the boxes kind of job. If you are looking for a job vs. a career and not looking to invest in corporate culture as a positive contributor, it is not for you.

    Advice to Management

Continue advancing and evolving with the industry trends.
Investment in technology to attract a tech savvy workforce now and in the future.
