I worked at adidas Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discount 30% in store. 40% online in store. 20% AAA member discount. Some cool people to work with. That's pretty much it.

    Cons

Management needs to know their job and get to know their employees. Manager now wants the women to all be team leads.

    Advice to Management

    Hire within the company

    Pros

There's only part time jobs, unless your a supervisor or manager. Corporate doesn't seem to interested in there employees and our needs, unless it's too show off my store to other corporate people from other countries.

    Cons

Love my pay, these work environment is fun and everyone truly becomes like a family, a lot of the customers you meet are fans of the brand and have been shopping at my store for years. You meet a lot of nice people and the celebs you meet are a bonus.

I worked at adidas Group (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The discounts are great, getting first pick at most of the merchandise is great, good store environment, great place to pick up CSR and sales skills.

    Cons

retail hourly is crap. In the high volume stores they work you hard and the store makes tons of money. At the slow stores I guess things are better. No recognition for top employees, except for permanent-part-time and scarce promotions to management.

As a full time Team Lead I was making $14/hr.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the employees! Be choosier, pay better, and train more!

I worked at adidas Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed my job, I learned different things. Its fun to work in the warehouse n see all the new merchandise that comes in and pricing the stuff before sending to the store.

    Cons

Management needs to do a better job at choosing managers, warehouse managers are rude, they pick who they want to be nice to then turn on them. Nothing is done about issues the employees have. They disrespect employees.

    Advice to Management

You need to get better information about the people you hire or promote. They are not management material. Managers are not supposed to be hypocritical, make fun of employees, choose who they want to talk to or who they want to give a hard time to, they don't settle disputes only make them worse. This is all at one adidas outlet, that I know of

    Pros

    The discount is 30% off
A lot of interesting customers to meet from out of town
The Santa Monica area is very fun

    Cons

The managers was somewhat redundant and very repetitive on instruction
You can only wear the performance gear at work

    Advice to Management

Have a little more faith in the employees because they know what they're doing. The job isn't rocket science.

    Pros

It is a team-oriented environment and is very fast-paced. Fun events are planned for the employees.

    Cons

There are procedures for everything. Flexibility and Creative thinking is not rewarded. The process can be very rigid. Micro Management occurs frequently.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to suggestions. Do not micro-manage the employees.
