    Pros

competitive pay, flexible hours, good supervisors, excellent product discounts. Adidas provided me with an opportunity to work over the summer with flexible hours and were very accepting of conflicts.

    Cons

At times the working conditions could be very warm, and the supervisors seemed to possess varying levels of aptitude. Could have used more engaging and interesting projects.

    Advice to Management

They should continue to expand and continue to look for new opportunities for their summer employees that best utilizes their talent.

    Pros

Adidas is the number one sports apperal brand in the world. However, we were second to Nike in the USA. It was great to be apart of meetings and corperate game plans to how we as a staff could outwork Nike and become the number one reatiler in the United States.

    Cons

Our home office was Portland, OR and our regional office meeting place was Dallas, TX. I was based out of Washington, DC so it's easy to see that we traveled all of the US for meetings, etc. I felt that we could cut costs by using "go-to-meeting" a little more, and get together as a group face to face maybe twice a year, not every other month. I felt it took away from my Area by traveling so much.

    Advice to Management

There was a lot of "red tape" to go through to make store level changes. As I have been taught and trained, I'm the person who lived in the area, knew the people and the land. So it made more sense to make it a "local store" and increase volume. The set up in LA was not going to work on the East Coast, but it took too long to make those changes happen.

    Pros

The atmosphere was great to work in and allowed me to enjoy coming to work everyday.

    Cons

Schedules were suppose to be up 2 or 3 weeks in advance and sometimes they weren't so it got frustrating. It seemed like we would "wing it" when it came to closing the store when I first started there but when I was there for a few months, the managers came up with a way to split everyone into sections.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be better communication between the managers, assistant managers, and the team leads. I always felt like one manager would tell me something and then another manager would tell me differently.

I have been working at adidas part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

employees work as a team, bonus compensation is available, 30% off anything plus whatever promo is on, not as demanding as other more stressful jobs, work around school and other work schedules.

    Cons

disorganized management, high turn-over rate, minimal employees scheduled every day (except at specific times of the year), employee call-outs are common.

    Advice to Management

keep things on point so that hours get paid on time and completely, talk to your employees not at your employees, give monthly reviews, work with your employees instead of simply supervising.

I have been working at adidas part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working in a retail store for Adidas was a great oppurtunity. I ended my experience their for personal reasons nothing with the company. They treat you right and everyone is so friendly. My area the area and district managers get o know everyone.

    Cons

Nothing was wrong with the company

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what your doing.... Also Store I believe it is 6183 in Pottstown PA the store manger is Jessica Harrison- Harper. Keep her and do not let her leave. She knows how to run the store and keep it fun for the employees. She deserves to move up in the company.
