I have been working at adidas full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Fun working environment
    Excellent benefits
    Great brand heat
Social purpose focus in many locations
You'll never be bored - there is lots to do

    Cons

The workers council in Germany slows/shuts things down significantly for everyone
Not all Top Leadership role model how they're expected to
    Slow career movement (upward)
Workload and results pressure - it's super high without an end in sight for relief

    Advice to Management

Don't let creativity die in an effort for consistency. Find ways for employees to have slack time. Don't let the workers council run the company.

I have been working at adidas full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was hesitant going into retail full time, but it ended up being okay. the company itself is very pleasant to work for and seems to genuinely care about its employees. the work isnt too hard, but at the same time isnt so easy that time drags on and its boring. coworkers are amazing and the team dynamic the company brings out is incredible. ive never had so much faith in my coworkers before. Work life balance is pretty since there is rarely overtime, so almost always 40 hours a week is an absolute cap. work some weekends but it is what it is, still always get at least 2 days a week off and dont usually work more than 8 hours at a time. on occasions that i do end up working late, it typically means ill get an extended lunch break on another day to even out the hours. pay is also decent and, for me, has been enough to live on my own on. overall, very happy here.

    Cons

all in all it is retail, so there will be times that you have bad customers or annoying issues. good team dynamics do a lot to alleviate these issues though. Holiday time is a little crazy, again just something that comes with retail, but hour caps are always in place so that no employee feels overworked.

    Advice to Management

    keep it up

    Pros

Great product, people are friendly, we have been doing very well

    Cons

That winning streak is about to come to an end, and kasper r the ceo is bringing the headcount down to drive profits. Many more to come.

    Advice to Management

If you really have genuine care for employees as management preaches over and over, you don’t fire them 10 days before Christmas. Good people that didn’t deserve it were let go. It seemed subjective and arbitrary. Doesn’t help that you try to hide this from the employees bY not announcing anything. It’s just empty corporate jingoism

I have been working at adidas full-time

    Pros

Great energy and good vibes within the work environment. adidas puts much effort into looking after their employees.

    Cons

Depending on the team you're in the company can be quite political. adidas being a German company- things like hierarchy, formalities and networking can make or break your career.

    Advice to Management

Think bottom up instead of top to bottom. Great ideas can only come to life when they are supported by all employees.
