I have been working at adidas full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun, inclusive. It is truly a sport environment with a flair of fashion mixed in with the Originals & NEO collection.

    Cons

Disorganized, immature corporate leadership. Technology in operations is far behind the competition. Orientation is overwhelming and becomes obsolete when you hit the sales floor. Bonus program is fairly unachievable in the outlets.

    Advice to Management

Have fun, get the job done

I worked at adidas full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and you always get your 40 hours in if you are full time.

    Cons

Store manager was more of a friend then a leader. No strict behavior for accountability. No real leading influence. Men get paid more no matter how many years longer you have been there than them.

I worked at adidas part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great discounts, somewhat orderly management. Learned some great customer service skills while working here.

    Cons

Some unfriendly coworkers. Hours weren't that great. At times we were sent home after working an hour or two. Sometimes it was impossible to find items in the stock room because it's extremely messy.

    Advice to Management

The workers you hire are way too laid back.

    Pros

Great culture of Fitness. Many people work out during the workday - take a lunch and are heading home by 5.

    Cons

Reebok is the ugly red headed step child in the Adidas family. Not sure about where the company is going.

I have been working at adidas (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A renewed focus on winning in the US market has meant real improvements and growth for the adidas brand and business in America.

The opportunities to work with people from all over the world, and to work in other countries is great.

One question is, how will things change as Kasper Rorsted makes his mark on the company?

    Cons

For some roles you have to work in another market/country or the global headquarters in Germany to advance your career.
