I worked at airG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some teams are friendly. Lots of company events

    Cons

Depending on which team you are in. If you happen to be in the Integrations team, good luck to you. This is a team where everything is thrown onto you but you are never appreciated. The lead has no idea what is happening and only loves to chat with management. If you are one who loves to talk and butter up to your seniors and superiors, then you will do well in this organization. All the talk of work life balance only happens if you do a good job at buttering up.

    Advice to Management

The reason why people leave is the lack of appreciation and people do not like to hear advise from others.

    Pros

Great company to work for with a great culture - work hard play hard mentality. Worked with a great team and learned a lot with the company.

    Cons

To be honest, can't really think of a con working with AirG as I had a positive experience all around. Was a great place to work as one of my first jobs out of schoo.

    Cons

After working out in the world...I find no cons with this company. This is the best place that I have worked with.

    Advice to Management

I can not speak to what other people have for managers but I believe mine is one of the better ones. Keep doing the great things you do.

I worked at airG full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work is steady, people are nice, stacks and beer on Friday.

    Cons

Poor team management. Huge skill gap between developers, but lack the technical leadership to actually resolve this. Main code base is >10 years old. Not many learning opportunities (or people to learn from.) Micromanagement stifles innovation. Many coworkers seem to just clock in and clock out and are dispassionate.

    Advice to Management

Learn to let go of things and let people make and learn from their own mistakes, instead of managing them into your mistake.

    Pros

Chances to work on everything, lot of room to improve so you come up new idea the company encourage you to try out

    Cons

Pros are also a kind of cons. The management team lose directions from time to time in front of all the new ideas.
