    Advice to Management

Focus on retaining more employees than trying to get more business when you're barely able to keep up with the amount of clients you have

I worked at alliantgroup, LP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free food, free parking, easy work paid time off, 401k, benefits and insurance lots of overtime which is good for hourly workers. Restrooms are cleaned daily, free soda machine and coffee. Nice view anywhere you sit.

    Cons

People are childish there. There is also a lot of favoritism. Drama lives there. They make you feel disposable. Plenty of turnover

I worked at alliantgroup, LP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pretty unique work environment compared to most companies I have worked for. Good training program for the most part.

    Cons

Constantly changing processes that make it very difficult to become efficient at anything you do. Constant pressure to always stay extremely late and attend extra curricular events outside of work and if you dont attend it is highly frowned upon and you become an outsider. This even applies to folks with families and spouses, being that if you have obligations at home they expect those to take a backseat to the things that they have invited you to. Management is very transparent and anything you say is never kept confidential no matter what they tell you. This is a very competitive working environment where metrics are blasted out to the entire firm.

    Advice to Management

Some things are better kept between you and the employee especially when it comes to personal topics. Don't be blind to feedback that employees provide as this information is provided to better the firm and working environment.

    Pros

It's a nice building, the average age of employees is young so it's great for the sociable type, lunch is provided, lots of single and looking men and women.

    Cons

60+ hour work weeks often, often expected to come in on weekends with no more notice than the Friday of, the position got overtime when I started but it was cut 6 months in and only employees who had worked there for 9 months or more got their pay adjusted to compensate for lost overtime wages, not a very professional atmosphere.

    Advice to Management

Take Ownership when you mess up. You might save yourself some embarrassment when you blame others but your reputation will be much worse for it.

    Pros

Great work life, great peers you work with on a daily basis. Very young enviroment, whileallowing new chances out of collwgw

    Cons

Long hours and weekend work. Some of the middle management is out of touch with the new times and technology

    Advice to Management

Allow more training for the new workers. New employees are sometime worked too hard while management are given large bonuses

    Pros

Great job for recent hungry college grads that have tons of time to work long hours. Cool benefits and they try really hard to have a fun atmosphere.

    Cons

Work Life Balance is a challenge with the long hours. 179D department was going through a reorganization tough time. Wasn't the right company for me at the time. May be a great fit for a hungry corporate super go getter fresh out of college.

    Advice to Management

Find like minded employees that share the same corporate ideologies. This takes time to obtain and keep them happy. Keep moving forward. Live and Let Live :-)

I have been working at alliantgroup, LP (More than a year)

    Pros

it was an interesting experience. i got some consulting experience out of it. the only problems with this was that there were long hours and since it is a fairly new company, the salary didn't much up very well with the hours. other than that it was a good starting job.

    Cons

long hours. not enough pay for the amount of hours put it. the credit for the lunches was not that great since they barely gave any credit.

    Advice to Management

management needs to start getting with advanced technology and fix the issue with the long hours and stop paying so little.
