I have been working at apetito full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good support structure in place for the transition from university to a career. Been provided with a buddy in the scheme which is like a casual mate who can help with professional issues, a mentor who is head of marketing (different career path offers different perspective - removed from manufacturing which is handy) and management mentoring from an external consultant. Main pro is autonomy and responsibility,... being given the chance to grow and develop while holding key positions. I have been in production for 6 months running the AM shift of the sweets department. This was control of operations for over 300k units per week. Brought a new product range in house which was previously traded - so a good mix of project work and day to day ops. I'm have now moved on to meals on wheels, assitant manager for 3 sites across Hampshire. Work life balance - there isnt pressure to conform to crazy hours. A lot of the managers do 9-5 days, however you get out what you put in! Obviously when your starting you need to do those 10 hour days to catch up with processes and fill and knowledge gaps.

    Cons

    - HQ may not be perfect for everyone, Trowbrdge is a big enough place for most but some people from the big city may miss the vibe
