    Good people, rewarding work, but room for improvement

    Pros

    Good work/life balance; flexible schedule; camaraderie w/ coworkers; competitive pay; yearly bonuses; thorough onboarding/new hire program; fast IT support; open-minded/progressive company culture; lots of nice perks; and doing work that makes a difference in people's lives.

    Cons

    Little chance at promotion for those who don't wish to be managers; too many performance reviews (self-reviews as well as by managers); limited choice of health plans; company resistant to improving or switching from certain software programs/protocols that most employees dislike; not enough proactive support/advocacy for employees w/ invisible disabilities.

    Pros

    1. Excellent culture (The only org where I felt folks from the US treated us like colleagues and not like cheap labor) 2. Freedom at work (Casual dressing, youtube at work, not too much restrictions) 3. Visibility (Every Manager would know if a new resource is onboard. And everyone would keep track of your progress and keep checking with you often) 4. Decent pay (while joining) 5. Diversity 6. Exposure 7. Proper Training (The company will ensure that you are properly trained on different parts of the business and thoroughly know the product areas before you are deployed for work) 8. Free Snacks at the Cafeteria 9. Retreat and other annual events

    Cons

    1. Poor Middle Management/Leads ( Since most of the middle managers are employed for a long term, Senior Managers blindly trust their leads. This leads to communication gap 2. Performance Review ( Though the performance reviews are incremental which happens every quarter there won't be a huge difference in Hike unless you are promoted) 3. Getting back to BPO culture ( Even after evolving to IT services organization, since many managers are from BPO background the culture is slowly becoming like a BPO ) 4. Technologically obsolete (most of the tech stack is PERL and other old tech) 5. Monotonous work ( Most of the teams, the work is monotonous as the product is matured. You just have to follow the same process or steps days after days)
