    Pros

    - Salary Comes on time
    - Great Stability. They have never fired anyone due to project loss.
    - Opportunity to learn and groom yours automation skills in framework of your choice (Java,Ruby,Python,C# etc.). As company have expert automation engineers/leads and multiple

    - HR organize time to time training sessions across different testing domains like (Mobile Automation, security testing, Data base testing etc.)
    - Perks for fresher like Education reimbursement, Subsidize food facility, Sports area and Gym.

    Cons

    - Transportation facility is not there.
    - Instead of workstations laptop should be provided to engineers so that they can also take
    - Work from Home. This will help them to Save their PTO balance for any personal urgency.
    - They should have collaboration with some certification bodies so that members can do certification in respective technical areas in house rather than to join any training institute outside.

I have been working at bebo Technologies full-time

    Pros

Company has own campus and made good success in QA.
    Competitive Salary Packages.
    Gym
    Sports Area
    Spot bonuses

    Cons

This review is for dev managers only who got unnecessary promotions. Below are the issues that teams are facing in dev dept.

Sikh/Punjabi favoritism. This is worst part of the dev dept. I am sure one day Company will face this situation pretty badly. Because talented engineers leave the organization because of this culture and engineer who stays there just want to do job because they want to leave in Chandigarh and no other aim to do job.

Managers speaks in Punjabi and sometime you don't understand what he/she wants to say.

Managers are very-2 poor in communication and in presentation skills. Not sure how do they deserve for such a responsible position.

Managers have dual faces. Start playing politics if they see any junior lead got faith of team members. Managers will provoke team members against leads telling them false stories. They don't want to loose trust of lead and will pretend like they haven't done anything. This is the worst part.

They always provoke developers against QA teams. Not sure what they want to achieve with this. They never understood that QA team is also part of organisation and part of team.

Managers ego led the talented engineers leave the company. Once anyone leaves managers start saying that we wanted to fire him/her but was giving a chance to perform to motivate the junior engineers to take vacant position. By the way this is a cycle out there and will be repeated for years.

In last 4-5 years, many talented engineers have joined the company but left within years because of the managers ego and bad mindset to work with seniors. Managers don't understand the difference between 10 years experienced and 2 years experienced engineers. They expect that 10 years experienced engineers should also work like 2 years of experienced engineer and if they refuse to do or do with best approach that managers doesn't understand then managers start provoking other team members saying that 10 years experienced engineer is not good and we are giving him a chance to perform.

If any engineer resigns then real game starts, they start saying that you ditched us, you didn't tell us before resign, you must have not included the resign email alias, we are shocked with the resign. We are in pressure, what will we say to management. Management is asking question to us. If some junior leaves the organization then managers say return whatever you have learned here to us then we will leave you. Also some juniors were threatened to destroy their careers.

Frankly speaking some good engineers supported dev managers in the initial growth of the development teams but managers got unnecessary growth and their bad mind set and ego led the talented engineers leave the organization. Still managers are in the impression.

Managers will always favor Sikh and Punjabi community. Usually managers talks in Punjabi with them and make other feels that you cannot survive in this group.

Managers do the false commitment to engineers all the time whenever you talk with them.

Managers also don't understand what is the technical and manager role. Technical role engineer also doing the team management and forced to do so.

    Advice to Management

This is specially for top two position of the company. You have put massive efforts to make the organization so successful in QA. Efforts are appreciable because bebotechnologies is one of the good organization in Chandigarh but your blind faith is creating the serious problems in dev dept. I would suggest to resolve the dev managers issue that are mention above and bring some talented managers also in the organization to make the environment competitive enough. Dev managers are full of ego always paint the wrong picture to you. If you cannot change this then believe me you will always have 2-3 years of experience developers there or more experienced engineers who don't want to do coding or not capable of doing coding.
