I worked at belairdirect full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good perks with gym packages and cultural attractions, a consorted effort to offer opportunity to move to other departments or shadow co-workers. The company is definitely willing to hear employees out in order to retain them.

    Cons

Very strict and kept getting stricter. This job isn't always the most fun because of the nature of responsibility and subject matter so work culture can go a long way. Though there were many good initiatives low level employees often have to work the night shift - a monthly break from this would be great - or even bi weekly. The strict attitude continued to the point they were micro managing bathroom breaks.

    Advice to Management

Better rewards and recognition, oversight is necessary but feels invasive.

I worked at belairdirect full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Created Special Projects so you can learn things like recruitment or how to become a TL. Most TLs are great. Awesome staff parties

    Cons

Severe favoritism to the point that if another person lies to save their job you can be on the chopping block. The director won't believe you automatically believes their pets. You had 20 minutes total a day to use for bathroom breaks. When I started the focus was customer service targets when I left it was mostly Sales targets. Lots of agents dated Team Leaders and they were given more freedom.

    Advice to Management

No favoritism. Be open to employee suggestions. Ottawa Director shouldn't bully people. Big Wigs get too many bonuses. Agents deserve better pay

    Pros

Ok for new grads to get a taste of the "real world

    Cons

    Awful company.
    Avoid this company.

    Underpaid, over worked.
The management does not care at all about you.
No bathroom or smoke breaks unless it's on your one hour lunch (or you stay late or come in early).
High sales pressure, little regard for honesty to customers.

The only way to get up in this company is to sleep with the boss or meet their insane, unachievable quotas.
If you don't meet every quota in the month be prepared to be fired.

You will constantly be critized thought emails and having managers sit around and critize your calls.
This company will never tell you what a good job or effort you're putting in.

You most likely will also work 12-9 everyday and Saturday.
    No personal or family life.

    Advice to Management

Start appreciating your staff and let go of the "sell it or you get fired" attitude.
