I have been working at bwin.party full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great work atmosphere!!!!

The new Managment is taking decisions. Focused on results rather than the process.

I would recommend any of my friends to join.

    Cons

Not many cons I can think of. Defiantly it's not perfect but as company going through transition, I see the bright side of working there.

I have been working at bwin.party full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You feel you can really make a difference here. You work along some great people. The team leaders are people's persons, indeed. Most importantly, they try to focus on quality, not just quantity. Stats-orientation should not be at the expense of quality.

    Cons

Can't think of any at the moment.

    Advice to Management

Mingle more with your staff and keep listening to what they have to say. And remember, the quality of the customer service and the attitude toward clients is more important than statistics and numbers.

Just my two cents of thought.

    I worked at bwin.party full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with, lot's of fun and very friendly working atmosphere. Good benefits and bonus scheme before takeover from GVC.

    Cons

Lots of them after GVC takeover, but one of them wins the competition - lots of people lost their jobs to cut costs. And we are talking for professionals with 10+ years in the company. May be in short term it will work for the management to increase the shares value, but in long term it will cost the company a lot.

    Advice to Management

Respect and value your employees, they are who drive the business forward.

    I worked at bwin.party full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some wonderful people work at bwin.party. The people made the organisation, especially those who remained from the Party side of the business. There as opportunity to shape the development of the business by implementing common sense values and breaking down some of the walls and technical constraints. Great offices in London's St.Pauls.

    Cons

The initial merger was a clash of cultures (English and Austrian). Over time, we made inroads in bringing people together with greater understanding. However there was still a desperate need for some cultural development / inclusion initiatives.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing the brands, reducing required resources and building a strong business in preparation for the next acquisition / merger. Don't stop innovating!
