Change is constant and at cargo.one you should expect that change in direction or priorities will happening fast and often. Pros
No pros can be found
Cons
When at cargo.one the company was notorious for asking employees to review them to boost reviews. They clearly monitor their Glassdoor account. For those who don’t know this company has been a massive mess. Tons of infighting, immature behavior, whispering and secret telling, they operate like a middle school. Please please please take the advice you see here and do not apply. Cargo.one looks great on the outside but it’s rotten on the inside, there are so many other companies to work for please just don’t risk it.

Pros
Super people focused and managing the remote setup in an amazing way. Great onboarding, quite structured, not reminiscent of a company still trying to figure things out. Very helpful colleagues.
Cons
Welcome to the startup world where things are tried and, if needed, abandoned. It's not really a con, it's a necessity to move fast and remain agile. Real cons? Too many "productivity" tools have diminishing marginal returns.

May 5, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you’re willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING for money (mental health, social life, anything else you enjoy) for a good paycheck, do I have the company for you.
Cons
15 hour days are expected. less is looked down upon, management grossly and chronically overestimates goals, don’t care about employee growth

Great place to learn and grow
Nov 9, 2022 - Senior Data AnalystRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Only been here about a year now, but the business helped me grow tremendously as an analyst and as a person - Great people to learn from and I did feel at times as certainly not the smartest person in the room (which for me is a big plus) - Good comp and progression, fosters very sound leadership principles and practises them - Culture code is real and lived by most colleagues, promotes having difficult conversations openly and clearly. - Great offsites (twice per year) in great locations and with no expenses spared. La Thuille in the Italian alps was amazing! - Fully remote and thriving on it (I personally love that). - Strategy is well constructed, argued, and subject to all employee feedback, a very democratised approach which gives meaning to your work. - Quick and iterative on a lot of processes, a very no-bullshit approach. Management layers are very nimble and adaptable, no unnecessary faffing about before making decision. Big +. - There's enough (and interesting) work to keep you engaged with almost all teams in the business, creating a sense of "I know everyone", they don't feel like strangers. Had a beer with a good chunk of them. - Need I go on?
Cons
- I didn't get much sleep during the offsite(s)! :P - Company growth is not as fast as I might have expected. - I literally cannot think of anything else.

Best place I have worked!
Jan 6, 2023 - Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The people are ambitious, driven and understanding of newcomers. I was given such a warm welcome by my team and the company as a whole. Everyone puts in the effort to make remote working as smooth as possible. Communication is key and the founders lead by example here with strategy papers every cycle to keep everyone updated.
Cons
People do leave too frequently- usually for the best reasons, like wanting to start their own business. Retention is still much higher than average for this stage of start-up, but it would be great to have people stick around a bit longer.

Not all that glitters is gold!
Feb 14, 2023 - Customer Support AgentRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- good payment (in my case) - nice team events - most of my colleagues where very nice and supportive
Cons
- promises were not kept - at first it seems very transparent, but it turned out that it's actually not - unprofessional behavior towards the employee after termination - telling lies regarding the future of your own journey in the company

Ambitious leadership, yet it is getting larger
Feb 17, 2023 - Software Engineer in BerlinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Very talented team, they hire the best of the best - Clear communication within the company
Cons
- The company got larger. Thus, a lot of the good culture vibes are getting lost
