I have been working at codecentric (Serbia) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Quality over quantity : developers are encouraged to produce quality code, that's covered with unit tests, developers are actually given the time to develop using TDD if they want to - 4+1 time : you can use one day a week for self-education, or some open-source project - Education budget : each employee has a budget from which he can go to a conferences of his choice, and/or use that money for some other... educational purpose - Team buildings : paid trips abroad once or twice a year, and dinners, barbecues and sports events throught the year - Relaxed atmosphere : nice and friendly people, beer during worktime, foosball and sony playstation in the offices - Flexible working hours : come and go as you please as long as you work 8h each day, no check-in, check-out control, everything is based on mutual trust - Regular raises : raises come based on your effort and usually without asking for them

    Cons

    - Decisions making speed : decision making in the company could be faster, and should include more employees that it currently does - Transparency : some decisions are made without prior consulting with employees

    Advice to Management

    - Speed up decision making - Increase transparency - Put more effort into marketing, people often don't know about the company's good sides and are suprised when they hear about the all benefits that are available to employees here

I have been working at codecentric (Serbia) full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

- Sehr schnelllebig. Neue Konzepte gibt es mindestens jedes Jahr. Was nicht funktioniert, wird schnell wieder verworfen. Das liegt nicht jedem.
