    I worked at consilium1 full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The pros of this job were initial job stability, along with a good team to work with. Team members were competent and friendly.

    Cons

Was let go without severance. Saw one raise in my time with the company.

    Pros

Their project expectations and planning is excellent. The top level management folks are extremely smart and have a great sense of vision and planning.

    Cons

Work-life balance can become poor, especially during tight project timelines (in Consulting Business).

    Pros

Paycheck - but below market rate

    Cons

what a wasted opportunity - such a disappointing experience. Had thought so highly of leadership, only to be disappointed.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at consilium1 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There aren't many to name. coworkers are the only saving grace. I am just going to move onto the Cons...I only worked here for 3 months and bolted because it only took that long to realize

    Cons

Company is in bankruptcy so watch out -layoffs happening
No structure or real projects to work on
Leaders just like to hear themselves talk. You will never get a word in edgewise and they honestly don't care what you have to say so don't waste your breath. They have a shady plan already and do not have any interest in collaborating with employees. You are all lower class in their world.
Pay is really low compared to market rates.
Senior leadership frequently submits fake reviews on glass door trying to get the average up - you can tell how they write them so be careful of those cheerful reviews ... fake.

Be careful and find previous employees on Linkedin to ask them how their experience is before saying yes to an offer letter. They are more than happy to give you the truth.

    Advice to Management

    Good Luck surviving after bankruptcy!

    Pros

Great people in the development and QA teams; good benefits.

    Cons

Used to have a great development and system administrators team but not anymore - they lost almost everyone in the process. Management had no idea what they were doing. Cannot think of any good reason to work there.

    I worked at consilium1 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They talk of a great plan and grand promises...

    Cons

...but they have absolutely no follow through.

I was only here for 90 days, but it was enough to know I wanted nothing else to do with them.

    Advice to Management

Learn better hiring techniques than just filling seats, and pay a decent wage!

    Pros

CEO is top notch . Well respected and a brilliant business leader. Decision to leave tough based on that.

    Cons

Service delivery organization complete mess. Decisions are made by junior level people that are wrong and not current. Service delivery leadership is a joke and doesn't no anything about modern technologies or services so he goes with what his "team" decides . No wonder customers are flocking. I get calls daily about the mess

    Advice to Management

Get more involved. Don't be afraid to make a change. Decide a path and stick with it

    I worked at consilium1 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Gave me a 25% pay increase upon exemplary performance at key client. Hiring process was very professional and Executive VP Guylaine DiSalvo is absolutely wonderful even though I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person.

    Cons

Local upstate New York benefits. Out of network for most consultants. Client forced work over my scheduled two week vacation and I was never reimbursed -- that's a $6350 loss on my balance sheet. Was let go when client contract was terminated without cause simply because c1 had no other clients that could pay for me.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to pay attention to client behavior and reimburse for lost time. Take time to actually meet your top earners even if they are not local.

    Pros

Some of the people are nice.

    Cons

Meetings about meetings, you don't even get a chance to accomplish what you had discussed in the previous meeting because you are scheduled to go into another waste of time meeting. The executive leadership loves to hear themselves talk so good luck even getting a word in, and if you ask a question get ready for a 20 minute lecture that is not relevant to what you were looking for in the first place.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes your at fault, stop blaming everything that goes wrong on your employees.
