I have been working at dressbarn part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Amazing store manager, flexible hours, management is great, always trying to work as a team, and system of learning/training is great! $8.50 as a starting pay.

    Cons

Bratty customers(suburbia clothing store)! Always want you to hand them something along that always wanting coupons all the time! How can you help someone who is so picky and unhappy with themselves?
Dressbarn is a team effort store so if the staff doesn't put their weight, you will drown in stress!
The Power of Three more like the Power of Your Prices Are Too High! They want to sell three items of more of clothing according to the new CEO.
They only care about numbers now.
Always try to make an amount at the end of the day even if it is impossible.
    Another greedy company.

    Advice to Management

Pick someone who will pull their weight as a manager. A store manager who can properly teach the new staff not having an assistance store manager.

I have been working at dressbarn part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love all of the women that I work with my store! I feel like they really care about me.

    Cons

I really don't like the politics that I hear about between our store and the people who work above us.

    Advice to Management

There were somethings that could have been done differently when there was uncertainty with very large matter, especially between the store and the regional and district leaders.

    Pros

Generous Discount, great customers, and awesome coworkers. We do have a voice (at least for now) Wish we could see the culture return to how it was.

    Cons

Culture has changed no longer are we seeing happy employees. Too much change back to how it was. The increased workload and expectations with out the tools to support stores to allow success. Now cutting costs eliminating opportunities for growth and development

    Advice to Management

Find the balance between the experience and expectations we have swung too far and it is creating an unhappy morale throughout the teams at the level that faces the customer which will result in loss of sales.
