    Pros

The eBay Enterprise Marketing Services team was great! The managers really looked for opportunities to allow for internal advancement and the rapport between team members really made working there a delight. And that rapport also translated into great work and results for clients!

    Cons

There was so much instability with what was happening with eBay's split of its different divisions. We never knew when the sale would be final, to whom we would be sold, and how we would be divided up among our investors. We didn't know what was going to happen until the day we all got laid off.

    Advice to Management

Never underestimate your cash cow. Try to hire to good executives who have good vision and provide clarity for employees

I have been working at eBay Enterprise full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Ability to work from home, great people to work with, no micro management.

    Cons

State of constant instability and foggy future of the company. New owners seem careless about people as many good benefits were abruptly cancelled.

    Advice to Management

Stop this fight of egos about whose platform is better, and start paying attention to the fact that hard working people with real business knowledge keep leaving every day. Both platforms can coexists and bring revenue if someone finally decides to find out the actuality about how each platform operates, takes time to analyze all pros and cons and starts leading the company in the right direction.

    Pros

Pay was decent, and benefits were very good. Location makes for pricey lunches, but a LOT of good restaurants in the KOP area!

    Cons

Far too much internal politics. Middle management seemed more concerned with increasing their own powerbase, while upper management seemed to provide no direction/vision.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your employees! When you treat them poorly, they're not going to put up with it for long.
