    Pros

    * State of the art technology
    * Best minds work and are always ready to assist you and share their knowledge.
    * There are no pressures from managers and a true flat organization. You are responsible to do your work ....period.
    * Wonderful Customer experience. With a profile of more than 1000 partners currently active in the business, you can expect to learn the latest requirements and demands on the business and give you the needed skill to upgrade yourself and the architecture.
    * Best work life balance in my entire career.
    * Honest and transparent management which sharpens your skill by putting you across the technology.

    Cons

    * Volatile opportunity due to the nature of the business model.
    * Top heavy management and hardly the top management know the team.
    * The knowledge is out there at workplace and you need to grab it by singing the right tune.

    Advice to Management

More townhouse meeting and informal meetings to share ideas will help keep the spirit high.

I worked at eBay Enterprise (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere. Fast paced. Amazing technology. Free Bagels on Wednesdays.
    Some people were great.

    Cons

    Management is a joke.
    Do not except new ideas.
Some use you for their personal gain.
Process are repetitive and should have been automated.
Issues occur regularly and instead of fixing them for good they do a quick fix that breaks the next day.

    Advice to Management

Accept new inputs you never know when a person with new experience can offer.
Also don't just slap the easiest fix, you should make a fix that will last for a long time.

    Pros

It USED to be an OK place to work, before it was sold by eBay Inc. This company, in its whole form, no longer exists though. Great people, mostly, as long as they are not too high up in the chain of command (or lack of command, rather).

    Cons

The company has collapsed right after it was sold off by eBay Inc and split into parts. Some parts may be better than others, but it's fair to say they all suffer from mismanagement, archaic technology, and lack of efficient business process. Transition out of the whole into the individual units was poorly managed, many key benefits were lost, and employees were leaving faster than company could announce yet another restructuring.

I worked at eBay Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people/co-workers and opportunity for advancement. Work-Life balance was fantastic, better than any other place I've worked. Folks are always willing to lend a hand and work across job descriptions for the good of the team.

    Cons

New private equity take over and loss of eBay inc sponsorship has essentially gutted the company. Whether or not they are still posed to be successful is basically a coin flip at this point.

I have been working at eBay Enterprise full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Flexible working environment that allows for telecommuting.
    - Supportive management
    - Wonderful and talented coworkers
    - Excellent benefits
    -

    Cons

    - A lot of high-level management turnover that can be disruptive to day-to-day workflow
    - Lack of leverage to get clients to send necessary information. We are customer service-based, but at some point it becomes counter-productive when clients send assets late or incomplete. In my experience, when employees burn-out it was due to too much pressure and overwork from clients, not an issue with management

    Advice to Management

Focus on unifying and verifying all changes prior to communicating to employees. A lot of changing and contradictory updates from upper management are confusing and distracting.

I have been working at eBay Enterprise full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are some very talented engineers and architects sprinkled throughout the company.

    Cons

The two largest cons are the culture and the outlook going forward. Corners and processes are cut for the sake of meaningless timelines. No clearly defined roadmap is presented to employees which leaves a sense of uncertainty in the workforce.

    Advice to Management

Define your vision for what the company will be going forward and present it to the employees. Foster a sense of permanence and importance in your projects.

I have been working at eBay Enterprise (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working from home. Free drinks. Bagel Wednesday's.
Twenty five cent snacks. That's really it. No pros to working here. Loosing people and work left and right

    Cons

Working 55+ hour weeks on salary. No work life balance. So much attrition we can't keep up. No backfills. Raises are a joke 3% in three years considered a top performer. No room for advancement or promotions.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue. Appreciate your employees. Hire more people. Stop putting the work of a team on person.
