I have been working at eClinicalWorks full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

One of the most amazing places to work if you are self motivated and willing to take initiative. We operate as a very flat organization, little hoops to jump through and endless possibilities to make a difference. The founders of the company have done something remarkable here and care deeply about those employed, their families and the impact job creation makes on our local economy. Big hearts!

    Cons

I can't highlight any cons to this environment. It's impossible to be dissatisfied with all the flexibility, independence & support received.

    Advice to Management

Don't change! Titles don't reflect who you really are and the impact you make everyday. Stay true to what's made us so successful!

I worked at eClinicalWorks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a good company for someone starting their career.

There are extra perks for traveling like bonuses, per diem, and comp time.

It's a good opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry.

    Cons

    Nepotism is fairly common.

There's a lack of communication and accountability from some team leads.

Training and development needs to improve.

There can be a lot of office politics and back stabbing.

    Advice to Management

Foster a learning organization that values ongoing improvement.

    Make advancement merit based.

I have been working at eClinicalWorks as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Smaller company, so greater interaction with fellow employees, and easier to work with them. Good for an intern, since this is just a start!

    Cons

Location is probably the only con, especially since the transport system near Westborough is not that great in my opinion.

I worked at eClinicalWorks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    It was a friendly team.

    Cons

The RCM teams needs more people that know Revenue Cycle Management. More than have the leadership teams only know the ECW way to do things.

    Advice to Management

Don't make people feel bad because they want to move on.

I have been working at eClinicalWorks (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good company to work with great benefits. Good culture to follow. Top Management / Owners are great in decision making.

    Cons

Few Local Centre Heads / managers needs to improve when it comes to childishness. The need to understand that not taking responsibilities does not improve any thing. Mistakes happens and everyone need to learn from mistakes. There is no point to run down the individual for small mistakes. This sends wrong message to team.

    Advice to Management

Someone's Personal feelings, who have responsibilities on his / her head, should not impact the business decisions.

Health benefits are good, vision health dental and 401k. Cafeteria at the headquarters. yearly raises

    Cons

The sales department is a glorified dumpster fire, the COO is blaming everyone for not trying there hardest and just keeps screaming at them to do more. turns a blind eye to harassment and only looks at if you help produce and if you kiss their you know what then they will keep you around.

    Advice to Management

Learn to adapt to change instead of just screaming at your employees to do more without offering help on how to do it
