Pros

- Decent benefits - Work schedule flexibility if you are one of the "chosen ones". Everyone else is required to be there 8 to 5. - Free soda - Happy hours, christmas party

Cons

- Micro-managing owners - Family politics wreak havoc on production (4 members of the upper management team are related) - No one can make a timely decision - Require BA and Dev employees to work obscene hours due to poor project mgmt - No communication from higher ups. Everything is a secret. - No one is happy to work here except for those who worked under the previous CEO. Even they are tired of the new regime... they're just too nervous to say anything. - Good luck if you're a new employee. You might have accepted the job 2 weeks ago, but they aren't going to have anything ready for your arrival... HR probably won't even be here.

Old boys club

Pros

They have snacks in the office to make you feel like they care

Cons

The management team is the old boys club so you're either in or out. The individuals that have been working there for years are not welcoming or helpful to newcomers and will deliberately do what they can to jade others opinion of you. They are a small family run business so everybody and their mother is your boss. They claim that they encourage a healthy work life balance, but expect you to be available to work at anytime any day and if you are asked to work on the weekend and you decline it negatively affects you. They are on the lower paying side and their benefits are incredibly expensive and not conducive to anyone with a family. They will claim that they want your expertise and experience on how to make changes, but if you do not follow their guidelines you are deemed as unsatisfactory. Overall I would say it is not a great company and creates a hostile work environment.

Not great

Pros

The office is very professional and everyone in general is nice. The company is growing quickly and there is a lot of talent in the company. They are trying to have more company happy hours and events to lighten the atmosphere.

Cons

There is little room for career growth. Leadership states there is but over time very few move up. The pay and benefits are below average in the industry. The leadership team does not trust the rest of the company so there is always someone watching over your shoulder even for the smallest task. The lack of general day to day communication is a very serious problem and can impact employee morale and project work.
