    I have been working at ePlan Services Inc. full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Agile, forward thinking, autonomy for the engineering team. Flexibility and great people. Build from a team of career engineers who love their work. (it's great that this is supported and we aren't pressured to move into other positions)

    Cons

    If you want to move into management most likely you need to move into Paychex who owns ePlan Services now and that likely means moving to Rochester.

    I have been working at ePlan Services Inc.

    Pros

    Peers were good people, united in their hatred of management

    Cons

    Disrespectful management. Clueless management. Demeaning attitude and remarks from management towards employees. 1950s style approach to just about everything. Currently ePlan USA is a hellhole to work at. Do not go to work here unless you are REALLY desperate.

    Advice to Management

    Give your employees some credit for their knowledge. Listen to their feedback and learn from it. Acknowledge the fact that you may not know more about everything than the people working for you. Recognize that your company is not the dominant player int he US that it is in Europe and that the approach gaining business must be different. Stop demeaning and berating your employees every chance you get.
