Posting this in Consulting bc I’d like this audiences take: I just got my real estate license and am looking at which brokerage to work under. My options are eXp Realty and Keller Williams. eXp has a slightly better fee structure, so it would save me $2-5K per year compared to KW, but I’ve been told some people would much rather work with a brand name like KW so that may open me to more deals (aka make up for the $2-5K) Do you feel that way when selecting an agent to help buy?

    AMAZING benefits

    May 10, 2021 - REALTOR® in Knoxville, TN

    Pros

One thing that gets completely overlooked is the healthcare that is offered through Clearwater. If you are a productive agent you actually get rewarded. The amount of stock my family and I have received from the ICON program has been life changing. The revenue share program can give you an opportunity to earn passive income for the rest of your life. From my research the EXP Realty fees beat all of the other major brokerages fees. I really don't understand why every agent isn't with EXP realty.

    Cons

If you're not going to recruit/attract any agents or you are only going to do 1-5 deals a year that are not luxury properties, EXP probably isn't for you. I would just join a very small brokerage that charges low fees. I can't think of any other cons.

    eXp Realty is the "BEST!"

    Mar 9, 2021 - REALTOR&Reg; in San Antonio, TX

    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

eXp lets you really be your own boss and you get to promote yourself. They are always coaching on the latest and their coaching classes are free, you just have to sign up. Revenue share is a great bonus and so is the stock market. This is a brokerage for real strong realtors, so unless you're serious about making real money we are not for you.

    Cons

If you are not motivated and not serious about being a Realtor then cons are going to be where ever you go.

    Great company

    Pros

Growing company, lots of tools & collaboration with other real estate professionals. Stock options & revenue share are two additional perks.

    Cons

Company has grown quickly so sometimes there are growing pains. Overall, they have done a great job to adapt and provide support as the company has grown.

    This Brokerage Changed My Life!

Jun 28, 2017 - Agent in Atlanta, GA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

So many pros! Every agent is owner/shareholder in the company and many stock awards are issued every year. Excellent splits and low annual cap. The best lead generation tools and training in the industry (IMHO) for only $50 month. I was able to build an amazing team and now earn revenue share (over $100k in passive income every year). Last but not least.... the PEOPLE at eXp are incredible! Everyone is always happy to help, share and give back - even if they are in Seattle and you're in Austin. The leadership and tech support team team is also easily available of you need help. Love, love this company! Call if you have any questions - 404321844

    Cons

you have to be a self starter and be motivated to attend classes and work from home or one of the Regus coworking offices.

    Pros

eXp Realty is cloud-based so all your meetings and trainings are in the cloud. You are never ever late for meetings or trainings and can navigate from anywhere. Commission splits are awesome and the other two ways to generate revenue from their Revenue Share through Agent Attraction and company stock plan is awesome! Support is top notch and they are always there to help day and night. So glad I moved my license to eXp Realty.

    Cons

There are no cons to this company. Everything has been great so far.

Learning all about eXp Luxury! “If you are doing a video, show the viewer how they are going to live in that house,” eXp agent Noe De Leon explained. “Understand and create the story for the consumer. The consumer is the hero — they want to see how they fit in that home and that story. Understand that if you don’t tell the story, they will come up with their own and it might not fit yours.”
