    I have been working at eaHELP part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great for stay at home parents; providing flexible schedule options. EA's are matched with clients based on personality profiles and it works very well!

    Cons

    For people that need insurance coverage, this is not the company. EA's are hired as 1099's. It works well for our family, but may not for others.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

    Pros

    Decent pay for a part-time, work from home gig

    Cons

    The clients can be extremely demanding, but refuse to up your hours, so you have to work miracles.

    Be more hands on with clients

    No insurance and working from home can sometimes be lonely.

    Advice to Management

    Come up with an insurance solution. VEA get togethers in person.

    Flexible schedule and great clients. Awesome work culture.

    If you need insurance benefits you should look for other employment as this is contractor (1099) job so no benefits

    Pros

    They have some good reviews.

    Cons

    The interview process is a series of several tasks that you have to do in different programs and then submit. They don't tell you if you can ask questions so most people are scared to. If you are booking travel for a client you will need more information then you are given but again you are not instructed that you can ask any questions.

    Advice to Management

    I was all the way through the process to the point where I was sent the eaHELP Sync form. I was told to keep it to a two-page minimum so I did not add the program knowledge I had given you at the beginning, assuming you would send me to clients who needed that specialty, and then the next day I was told I didn't get the position. (I assume it was because I didn't add the programs I am fluent in like CCB and ACS) which is unfortunate if that was the only reason I was turned down. I wasn't told why and I was not allowed to ask. This is not a way to raise up people and does not really follow your core values. I was very disappointed as I was led to believe that this was the final piece to the position and that I had passed all I needed to. I would have been an excellent team member and worked so hard for you!

    I have been working at eaHELP part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    eaHELP treats everyone really well. They do their due diligence with "interviewing" new clients and only take on those that will be a good fit. If they get the vibe that a client will mistreat a VEA (being demanding, disrespectful, etc.) they will chose not to do business with them. How great to be treated well and protected by leadership! They also go out of their way to show their sincere thanks to us VEAs.

    Also, the flexibility of working from home is a GREAT pro. This especially works well for stay-at-home moms who can produce value in the business world, while also not being too far from their little ones.

    Cons

    It can be lonely working from home. VEAs work as a 1099 contractor so it could be a con that you have to pay your own taxes and purchase your own equipment & supplies. But hey, the trade-off is worth it for me.
