Wonderful team in the London office. CEO was a great guy too
Pre Expedia - Very dependant on the US.
Not sure if this has changed now
talented and very capable people
poor pay, not particularly competitive
I really enjoyed working in the ebookers team in Dublin. The team spirit was exceptional with everyone working together and helping each other out. Benefits were great and management was very approachable and reasonable.
Once ebookers was snapped up by Expedia in late 2015 it was decided that they did not need our office in Dublin any longer. Although we got a chance to discuss time frames and exit packages, HR (on both ebookers and Expedia's side) weren't open with us from the start and when asked for specific information tried to stall us.

Great people, relaxed , laid back atmosphere
Nothing to add this time
Homeoffice, great salary, nice people to work with. International environment, traveling in different offices. You can also get more responsabilities and expect to be promoted.
Lots of micro management. No real advantage regarding personal travel. Nothing negative a part from that to say. I had a great time working there and will recommand it easily.
Advice to Management
Take into account what has been said during the survey feedback, it is not just to say we have requested one but it is more to show that you are taking into consideration what has been said by your employers and how we can change things.
I worked at ebookers full-time (More than a year)
The atmosphere is great and we have amazing colleagues and true talent. Good work-life balance.
It started off very well until Expedia has taken over. After the restructure, there are only terrible planning and bad communication left. The management have no idea what you do and if anything goes wrong, they simply blame the staff.
I have been working at ebookers full-time (More than 3 years)
everyone to work with is fun- a good work/social balance
completey controlled by chicago-
lots of politics
less opportunities for progression
lower salary and benefits then most companies
Advice to Management
support european staff more
get unbiased HR partners that listen to staff rather then management
I worked at ebookers full-time (More than 8 years)
Good people and culture
too political and if you are outside of the US , no room to grow
Good salary, great working environment
Human Resources do not value the employees enough
I have been working at ebookers full-time (Less than a year)
Interesting, stimulating and rewarding work
Nothing I can think of
