I have been working at epay full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There is a ton to be learned while working at EPAY. The IT team is incredibly gifted, and they go out of their way to assist with any and all business problems. Work hours can be very long, and the philosophy recognized around the company is "what have you done for me lately." This company is not for the faint-of-heart or lazy worker, but this will be an environment that is rewarding to those who enjoy daily challenges.

    Cons

Daily chaos. The infrastructure is highly complex, and the business model promotes chaos. The workload often strangles the IT team, and it is not unusual for a developer to work 10+ hour days to complete a project in time. Employees knowingly embrace the "what have you done for me lately" philosophy, and this can be frustrating for developers who frequently go out of their way to assist employees and customers.

    Advice to Management

Recognize internal success, and reward that success. Raises are frustrating (typically 3%), and the bonuses do not reflect what the employees have accomplished for the company.

    I worked at epay full-time

    Pros

They like to party. Social hour. It matters who you know, not what you do. You can flex whenever you want.

    Cons

Not enough people. No one really knows who is running the show. Complete lack of process. It's a free-for-all and lack of respect runs rampant. No clear direction. Projects are always late. Goals are consistently missed. Turnover is very high.

    Advice to Management

    Put your foot down.

    Pros

People are nice and they really service the customer well. Great products but not known in the Market place. Needs marketing to reach further.

    Cons

Cheap!!! Worst benefits you pay for with no vision. They have old school sales mentality that won't help them grow. You cannot run a territory on a dialer leaving vmails and sending bulk emails manually. Great product no one knows about. No advancement opportunities. Not open to new ideas and cheap.

    Advice to Management

If you want to be a true player and move forward you have to be open to new ideas. Not index cards and a dialer. Territory management isn't leaving 50 voicemails a day and spending hours sending spamming emails. And Marketing needs to do more than handing out pens and white papers.

I have been working at epay full-time

    Pros

Unlimited smoke breaks (same break time is not granted to non-smokers); people literally wear pajamas to work.

    Cons

The worst benefits I've ever seen; no room for growth (if you do receive a "promotion" it is made clear that you will continue to perform your previous duties in full while also taking on a whole new set of responsibilities, as your old role will not be back-filled, you'll just be responsible for twice the work); no culture; no communication between upper management to employees -- literally NONE (the "US president" is...

    Advice to Management

Invest in the company. It's clear you do not wish to invest in growing the business, but at least invest in the few employees you have left.
