I have been working at exp Global part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wide range of employee types allows for projects to be kept in house. Makes coordination easy. Flexible managers. Employees participate in many team building exercises, gatherings, etc. Office provides opportunities for income raises.

    Cons

Many employees are pigeonholed it seems. Though projects are big, many people seem to be stuck working on the same things project to project. Difficult to move into other aspects of projects. Not enough employees for projects, stress runs high near deadlines as there is too little time and too few people often.

They use Keurig coffee, which tastes terrible and produces too much waste.

I have been working at exp Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Work-life balance is great

    Interesting, high-profile projects

Some very talented engineers, architects, and project managers work here.

    Good benefits package.

    Cons

The hiring system is broken. Unqualified people are brought on and let go in the span of months once it becomes apparent they can't get the work done.

There is no mentorship. Entry-level hires are expected to learn on the job, and the company does not seem to care about employees' professional development.

Pay is low compared to competitors. The company constantly loses talent to more respected firms.

    Advice to Management

Make the company a prestigious and rewarding place to work.

I have been working at exp Global full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, collaborative co workers. Hey

    Cons

So I gave a pretty positive review of this company a year ago because I thought it was headed in the right direction. However there is high turnover because salary expectations are not met with the skillsets provided and a lot of employees are being overworked on big projects. Putting quality work in gets noticed but not compensated. Base pay needs to be fair with what they bill and what the employee gets.

    Advice to Management

Be more responsive when managers announce proposed annual bonuses and raises. There is this thing called inflation that makes living difficult in city locations. Don't call it an annual review if it takes over 1 1/2 year to then decide if raises are "possible". You are going to lose more of your employees with this trajectory. Other opportunities are looking more attractive.

    Pros

    Work life balance is great.
    People here are great.
    Benefits are okay.

    Cons

Upper management only talks about what they want out of their employees. They talk about how employees need to benefit the company and ONLY fulfill the company vision and need to make upper management happy. Very selfish.

Employees do not get to talk about what they want and get brushed off. There are no raises here. The guide lines about moving up in the company is zombie like. There is no personal development here and no room for growth.

Do not work for this company.

    Pros

Large company, which allowed for collaboration with other offices.

    Cons

Not a large variety in projects, and the benefits were getting cut every year. Not much expertise when it came to Revit.

    Pros

    They often employ excellent professionals
They offer incredible possibilities prior to hiring.
    Lots of Great promises

    Cons

The Contract leadership overseas is abusive. Leadership knows about it and is aware of it and patently ignores it.
Professionals are hired with absolutely no understanding of the professional's actual abilities. When you arrive they demand unreasonable expectations.
Its like getting a 48 month car lease. Really nice up front, and in the end you will never get what they promise.

    Advice to Management

Better oversight of the various contract managers. Enforce federal laws related to workplace abuse and negative environments. Sweeping stuff under the rug for the job's sake means you have incredible turn over rates and are forced to get lower and lower quality employees
