I have been working at faberNovel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interesting projects, high level clients, outstanding culture and people
Great environment to develop and take responsibilities. The company is growing fast, so there is room for ambition and growing with it.
You get opportunities to travel for work (France, India, China, US, Japan mostly)
Light structure, quite transparent, easy access to top management

    Cons

Due to the fluctuant nature of projects, the workload may be too heavy from time to time.
Lack of processes and automation in daily tasks (although this is on the way of being solved).
Company health insurance is extremely good, base compensation could be higher.

    Advice to Management

You are on the right track, keep things this way

    Pros

The team is amazing (smart and fun people).
The office is great (Parisoma was recently redesigned).
There is an opportunity to work on many interesting projects (and lots of autonomy).
    The company is growing.

    Cons

No big cons - the company is growing and things are constantly improving.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up - the company is definitely on the right way!

I have been working at faberNovel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart people, great team, very interesting projects. If you want to have an experience kicking off new projects, from start to finish while working with entrepreneurs, this a great place to be. PARISOMA is a great community to be part of, that gives access to lots of people & networks in the SF tech and innovation scene.

    Cons

Small team and challenging projects. FABERNOVEL San Francisco is still a startup, so you'll have to be ready to experiment, pivot, fail and learn !

    Advice to Management

Keep up ! Things have never been this good ! Looking forward to upcoming successes.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at faberNovel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great member base in the coworking space
    Near public transit

    Cons

    Management is nearly non-existent
No structure in place for growth or upward movement
    High turnover
Company is based in Paris, and SF is not a priority
Confusing bonus structure offered instead of pay increases, and the not honored after goals are met - had to get a lawyer involved to get bonus that was in my offer letter, which was super strange
No accountability for team or management
    Long hours, no rewards
No investment in employee happiness, growth or quality of life
Seems to be run like a boys-club - if you are French you have a clear upper hand
Tons of labor laws being broken
    Worst health insurance ever

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees a normal salary, put some structure in place and live up to your own promises. Stop setting expectations and then not even coming close to meeting them.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at faberNovel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working on cutting edge technologies in various industries. Focused on instilling startup drive into large corporations.

    Cons

Career path limited, ceilings very clearly present in terms of opportunities. Pay not always competitive with market, so high employee churn which made clients uncomfortable and teams less stable.

    Advice to Management

Attracting top-notch talent and retaining then is a key priority to grow the US business.

    Pros

Draws amazing employees who are passionate about their work. One of the best groups of people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. FABERNOVEL takes on exciting topics and projects.

    Cons

Horrendous work-life balance. Lack of organization and unclear priorities. Inability to provide employees with basic resources. Total lack of competent project management, or any sense of organization.

    Advice to Management

Stop using interns to produce client work. Focus on your core competencies, rather than trying to position FABERNOVEL as the expert on whatever is trending in tech and consulting.

I worked at faberNovel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office is in Paris, and the projects are interesting and impactful. Like for any consulting firm, it is a good school of business, with the benefit of being a creative work environment.

    Cons

Because of the no work-life balance culture, you never actually get to enjoy the city (talk about a french way of life!)... too much of the company's communication is based on "poudre aux yeux", they try way too much to be the cool kids in town, when they are actually not.
The management is distant and snob, unless you have the same background as them, or unless you are of incredible personal value to them (if you have an outstanding alumni network): they play favorites, and not in a good way. Like all french, they are obsessed with the "grandes écoles" system, and it leaves other employees out of the loop.

    Advice to Management

listen more to their employees, not wait until they can't take any more

I worked at faberNovel (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interesting projects, innovative approaches of consulting, great place to work in the center of Paris. As a junior your opinion is valued and taken into consideration. The company is constantly growing.

    Cons

Salary is lower than the average in consulting. The company has been growing very fast so the structure and differentiation between departments is very young.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, innovation consulting is a difficult business because you have to stay constantly innovative. It is nice to work for a small consulting firm that tries to have big impact.

Bureaux design et très bien agencés

    Cons

    Un peu trop de travail
Manque un chouille de luminosité au rdc

    Advice to Management

Changez rien, restez comme vous êtes mais augmentez quand même les salaires
