I have been working at g2 Recruitment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I started with G2 Houston back 2017 and it has been a great experience! I'm about to hit a Sr. Promotion with pay raise

Pros include: Small office but fun company culture, happy hours, great holiday incentives like Las Vegas,South America and more, monthly lunches (Vic& Anthony's, Tony's, Steak 48), relaxed dress code, GREAT WeWork downtown location near all good bars like Flying Saucer with lunch spots like Finn Hall and Franks Pizza

    DOG FRIENDLY OFFICE!

    100% MEDICAL, coverage+dental+vision , 401K up to 3% MATCH, 4WEEKS Vacation

Earning potential is unlimited I have seen people take home checks anywhere from 10K to 45K+

    Cons

Hard work and positive attitude required to make money and 90% on the phone& other KPI's

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to employees suggestions on how to make the business better

I worked at g2 Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Hours m-th 7:30am-5pm
    F 8:30am-3pm
    Food in the tunnels
Office location is great (downtown houston)
    Free parking garage
    20 days PTO
    100% medical coverage

    Cons

    Little to no training
100% micromanagement-you have to send management a daily plan of what you’re doing in 30 min slots 730-emails 8-LinkedIn 830-job board etc
If you step out longer than 5 min you’re getting “where are you??” Messages
If you aren’t at your desk at 730am on the dot or 1pm on the dot after lunch, expect a passive aggressive email about being on time
    Boss is rarely on time
    No leadership
Quick turnover. Most don’t last more than 6mo.
    If you’re interviewing anywhere,you’re fired
Management has a “do as I say,not as I do” mentality
EVERYONE is paid under market value. Starting salary is $27k with a $3k pay bump after your first placement... STILL UNDER MARKET VALUE
You only get paid once a month

    Advice to Management

CEO is great,L&D guy is awesome,HTX office be a leader, have a standard, and hold yourself accountable.

I have been working at g2 Recruitment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly staff, and very helpful. Everyone wants to help you learn and do well. There is no stupid question. Rewards from the start.

    Cons

Feel as though we could have done more than one session and maybe more one to one training on certain things. There is a lot to remember as a newcomer and i feel as though you are left in the deep a little bit too soon.

    Advice to Management

After training on something once, double check we know it well after, maybe one to one training or asking us to demonstrate our knowledge of the software we have been introduced to.
