I have been working at hhgregg part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good co-workers, fun to interact with people, and many new things to learn.

    Cons

Commission payouts, very slow weekdays and even some weekends, the draw is terrible, dishonest corporate, stores are closing, the delivery centre is run extremely poorly and takes forever to get someone on the phone. Products often times come to the store damaged and need to be sent back, and overall would never recommend working here.

    Advice to Management

Sell the company to someone who knows what they're doing, BOB RIESBECK IS AN IDIOT.

I have been working at hhgregg full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you want a place where you can hang out and not do much, this is the place.
Sometimes there's good discounts on products.

    Cons

Completely mismanaged! Company does nothing to bring customers in, yet expects you to somehow make sales.
No training at all, most managers barely know what to do on POS or HP. Most of the time, the managers give you the wrong information. This is because they don't want to pay for good managers.
You work on 100% commission, if you fall into draw, you will have to pay the company back.

    Advice to Management

Get over your egos and do training

I have been working at hhgregg full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

.Great people, Good training, Benefits available

    Cons

Lousy pay, Very low stock kept which means you make nothing when you have nothing to sell. We also have one employee who receives preferential treatment because of his relationship with management.

    Advice to Management

Quit keeping all the money at the top and make it worthwhile for the worker bees....After 25+ years experience in sales with 15 of that being in electronics I didn't make enough money in December to even pay my bills let alone have Christmas gifts under our tree....

I worked at hhgregg full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pros I had while working at Hhgregg was the team I worked with. The general manager and the sales managers were phenomenal. I left in April of 2015. Everyone else that was the dream team of that store left by end of 2015.

    Cons

    Pay structure
The draw system not making enough sales
    The uniforms at the time
And now after reading another review asking associates to post on glass door for positive reviews absolutely horrible.
I will never work for HHGREGG again. Not even for 100k salary.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your associates and learn some positive reinforcements. Change your pay scale to minimum wage plus commission.
