    Pros

    Good opportunity to learn new technologies. Flat hierarchy and easy access to senior management.

    Cons

    Sometimes, work pressure can be high for some projects.

    Advice to Management

    Work pressure can be moderated with proper planning. It isn't very difficult to do. If i-exceed can manage this aspect, they can successfully retain employees for longer periods of time.

    - Salary gets credited on time (But not the variable pay or hike) - Decent Pay (but not Great though) - Can claim night food allowance when you stretch. ( But won't get any comp iff) - 3 star hotel accomodation & allowance will be given if working in client place. (But you may end up working 14-16 hrs in client location) - Located in accessible locality - May get onsite opportunity depending on... the project ( But you have to work for years to get the opportunity)

    - Completely money minded and doesn't care about employees.(Pretend to be caring but not) - Zero work life balance. Will quote shorter deadline to the clients for getting the project and will ask you to complete 6-7 months project in 2-3months for which you have to work hard day and night / weekends - No comp offs will be given for working in weekends or hardly leaves will be given in 1:3 ratio(one leave for... working 3 weekends) . However you will not be able to completely utilise the leaves also. - Variable pay for April to march will be given on next January or February. And Hike will be given on January which is supposed to be given on September. - So many cost cutting measures by admin. (Doesn't even have a proper name board for the company, instead has a flux board). - Too many politics inside the company. Team leads and old employees plays too much politics. - You will not get time for Unit testing and proper SIT testing will not also happen ( Won't even have a proper test cases. Random testing will be done by the team). Project will be directly moved to UAT and will put pressure on developer to fix the bugs immediately.

    Advice to Management

    - Commit proper deadlines to the clients. And don't put pressure on employees. Don't loose your employees for getting the project. - Have a good infrastructure which will give positive vibes to the employees - Impliment AGILE in development. - HR should have one to one session with all employees, get feedback and resolve their concerns. - Give the variable pay and hike on time. Don't delay them to stop... employees from jumping to other companies. If one wants to leave he will leave anyways. -Don't loose the trust of employees which is a great strength for the company. You will never get the same again.

    Good policies, but not implemented properly.

    Cons

    Company has good values and policies, but not good in implementing them. Couple of people decides what has to be done and what not. Lack of infrastructure and cost cutting by admin on minor things. Actually those cost cuttings would make employees unhappy (which could be the best asset for any company) No clarity on variable pay and salary hikes. Can get delayed for ever. Firing of employees are worse. May ask... them not to show up from next day.

    Friendly workplace and salary gets credited on time

    Cons

    ->No learning curve ->Variable pay will be held for sure. We will not get our money ->Work load will be very high sometimes -> No cab facility ->No work from home -> Not a people friendly organization, only gets work done but does not reward well

    Few good people here and there

    Cons

    Employees are taken for granted. Not a single pro-employee policy. Useless insurance policy. Employees end up paying more than half of the hospital bill. Variable pay is usally paid 9-12 months late. Best part is no one knows when it is paid. The employee is never paid any variable pay if he wants quit company. To make it simple, an employee who wants to quit will have to forget about 18 months of VP at an average.... Never saw a company that eats away employees salary. Very unethical. And they call this as an employee retention policy. Horrible HR policies. Employees work for 2 holidays and get one comp off that too depends on Manager's mercy. If the employee is working on a national holiday, then the employee is not supposed to swipe. Employees if working late or on weekends can order food generously with Rs.200. Anything above it, employees have to bear it. They ask employees to write good reviews on glassdoor.
