    They frequently mess up your check and take a long time to rectify the problem. Not trustworthy,

    Stop running your business like it is a dictatorship. Stop manipulating the dialer to decide who eats and who does not.

    Pros

    They paid out daily spiffs for reaching a goal.

    Cons

    This company was a joke. I made some decent money, but at the cost of selling inferior insurance products to low income people, who were really sick and desperate for medical coverage when they could barley pay their light bill. If you actually care about the people who give you business, this company is not for you.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the horrible management team and stop selling inferior products that target low income people who don't have a clue and sell them Insurance plans that aren't even close to being worth the money

    Main office location is near I-95.

    Cons

    Work hours, management style, emphasis on selling in the best interest of the company and not the customer.

    Provide better employee training and quality of products offered.

    The plans are horrible, so that means the calls are 10x's worst. Alot of angry customers.

    I have been working at iCan Benefit full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Some cool co-workers. 40 hour week, unless overtime offered and elected.

    Cons

    Seem to only care about a few "insider" managers and agents.
    No real money to be made.
    These folks have been mildly successful, despite THEMSELVES.
    Hire 20 and 30 somethings - some that treat very experienced former business owners and agents like they are lucky to speak to them.

    Advice to Management

    Take some management and leadership courses. Don't forget to be nice to the people you meet on the way up, because they are the same people you are going to meet on the way down.

    The best thing about working at iCan Benefit Group are my co-workers

    The downside about working at iCan Benefit Group is it's inept, crisis management

    Advice to Management

    My advice to management is understand your overall role, act like leaders and not a high school clique. Management should manage their teams and not be "buddy buddy" with one or two employees

    Pros

    Good base salary & commission. Will allow you to start with just 1 state license. They will do the paperwork to get you additional state licenses.

    Cons

    Will not allow you to carry over any unused vacation time. Best leads go to senior reps.

    Advice to Management

    Extend lunch to one hour. Leads should be distributed in a more even handed manner.
