Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at iCare Repair
Pros
Flexible scheduling, co workers are generally cool people
Cons
Underpaid for skilled labor, lied to about sick and vacation pay, small company so no benefits, women don't stay as employees for too long, managers generally work too many hours and salary starts at 500/wk before taxes - mandatory 45 hrs per week minimum. Full time employees unable to take sick or vacation time since they don't have anyone to cover for their shifts, employees have been fired for little to no reason.

Pros
Flexible scheduling, easy work, mostly laid back. Most of my fellow lower tier employees were very friendly.
Cons
Most everything. Terrible communication from higher ups regarding anything. They dont even attempt to hidr the fact that they consoder you lesser than them, to the point where one of them actually told me face to face they didnt feel i needed respect due to my financial standing.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at iCare Repair part-time for more than a year
Pros
They offer a flexible schedule to work with school. Some of the people you will work with can be cool
Cons
Its retail so you work with the public. The company will throw you under the bus so fast when a customer is unhappy. my manager was not trained very well so it sucked to try and get help when I needed it

"Fired because a previous tech that quit wanted to come back part time."

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at iCare Repair part-time for less than a year
Pros
Will work around your school schedule. Laid back atmosphere from the company. Company will foot the bill for mistakes that are made.
Cons
Information from upper management is slow to arrive, if it arrives at all. You work retail customers can make phone repairs stressful. Watch your damage rating. If you have a higher damage rating than a previous tech that quit, and they want to come back you could be fired without notice. If you are fired they will tell you last minute and it will be effective immediately regardless of if you are on the schedule that week.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at iCare Repair part-time for less than a year
Pros
Company events, mostly uplifting work envrionment, you get to work on smartphones
Cons
Ridiculous schedules, part time, unpaid work. Until they moved me to the Lansing location I loved my job. I think if you manage to never make any mistakes and everyone there continues to like you for the entirety of your employment you can do well. Just whatever you do, if you end up working in the Lansing location, don't make eye-contact with the manager. You will need to be independently wealthy and have the ability to work 24 hours a week for $9 an hour because their erratic schedules will prevent you from getting a second job. Once you manage to convince them to make your schedule slightly more regular so you can get a second job, you'll then be deemed non-hardworking even though you'll be working nearly 50 hours a week. At this job there are stretches of time where nothing is going on, just look busy or something. To make matters worse they'll illegally require you work off the clock by making you do a money drop after clocking out if you're closing the store. Some fun hearsay for you too, someone told me the owner of the company once almost fired a group of employees for discussing wages together. If this is true, it's also illegal. And if the company is found violating the law to your detriment as employee, know that they cannot enforce their non-compete clause. Remember that you are disposable, you're about to be screwed financially after they fire you. But it's okay because at least you're a "good guy."
