    Pros

Freshers can hold here. Otherwise, Nothing to talk about

    Cons

A bad experience for middle management professionals. The top management is not keen on middle management growth and giving employee opportunities.

The vision of company is run by one man and the CEO is a mere puppet.

The appraisal cycles are a joke, to say the least.

    Advice to Management

Get your act together, respect your employees OR perish altogether from the market.

I have been working at iCreate Software full-time

    Pros

Very good place to learn especially for freshers and those who are keen on learning new things.
Casual attire, flexible timings, work from home, opportunity to learn both functional and technical aspects of banking technology,
Approachable senior management when you have a point.
Have come across a lot of No-nonsense kind of individuals and would consider working with them anytime in my career.

    Cons

As i see very minimal cons which is not worth mentioning.. i would like to share my view on others viewpoint:
I have gone through few reviews where in many of you spoke low/ill about the company and the management, a Simple question : honestly(if you think you are good at honest opinions) ask your self if you have done justice to the role/responsibilities that you were supposed to handle??? if so, you would'nt have made such comments.
Processes will not be success/failure due to one person but its a responsibility of everyone to make it successful by abiding which most of us here admit that we avoid. (we want to take the easy way out)
so my advise is : stop blaming!! not just here but which ever company you work for..
and about the company product : i feel its still evolving and once its evolved its going to be excellent..
If you say, there are hardly any projects that runs on profit, ALL are responsible for it in one way or other, its just not the Management/ Delivery Head.
When ppl talk about delivery of projects in this company i wonder who and all are part of this??? only the Heads and Management??? its the team and above.. if the delivery team is in bad shape, who is primarily responsible? and u blame the Business Head??? Wow!!.. PPl, instead of blaming, learn to accept mistakes and not to repeat.. the company will progress :-) if you want to play the blame game, this is not the place for you :-) and CEO has all the right to say TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY :)

    Advice to Management

Choose the right people with right attitude for Companies growth and Success. We are happy to work for the company, but Peers does matter!!
Lets not have this negativity floatting

    Pros

    1. Space in which the product revolves- buzz in todays financial industry
    2. Team is young and energetic
    3. Work life balance- relative term - Yes for one group and No for the other

    Cons

    1. Product :- Though the space in which the product revolves is good, the style of functioning is bad. The product head does not like to follow processes. He prefers the adhoc way of functioning. The product head has his own set of people ( so called jing jang - chamchas) who are taken care of well; no appraisal process for them as he does not believe in that
    2. Delivery:- This is like a dancing dolls never ending story. It is not delivery management which happens in iCreate, it is out and out crisis management. The project managers (dont know how many are left over now) and the so called DELIVERY HEAD are very busy every day managing only FIRE (S). There is hardly any project which runs on profit. Delivery head decides to pull someone from Project A and move to Project B. These shufflings are every day story. The so called delivery head neither comes out with his opinion nor allows his subordinates to decide and work. He only floats and tries to escape from the situation by passing the buck. He does not even have a work experience in a company which he can boast of.
    3. COO:- This is the best character in this organisation. An eccentric contractor (contractor because most of his career is as a contractor and not a full time employee) has good knowledge on Banking/BI and has vision also; but unfortunately surrounded by a bunch of jokers like the delivery head . The COO thinks that just by the virtue of he being the founder he is the final authority. Off late he has become famous for his famous quote - TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY IN THIS COMPANY. If he does not like anyone, he calls them tries to finger them from all angles and then finally one shot- TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY IN THIS COMPANY. He does not know anything other than that. He fired the entire middle east sales team, the india sales head and took over as Sales Head. Post his taking over, no new clients have been added in last two years. He does not help in delivery, sales, account management but the moment he feels bored, he walks in and fingers; gives a lot of stupid Gyan If he was so bothered about the projects, he should have conducted regular reviews. He does not ask that to the DELIVERY HEAD. The so called CEO ( an IIM Grad) his friend is a silent spectator. No one in the company has the balls to talk to the COO because they also may have to face the heat of FINAL DAY. The COO does not know to treat his team as humans; he uses like toilet rolls.
    4. HR:- Thats a big joke there. Head of HR is again a puppet with zero powers. Only YES SIR to the CEO and COO.
    5. Admin & Finance :- Nothing to complain as such. They do their work and also help others to the max possible extent
6:- Others:- There are some more characters in this company who have been since inception but no specific job role. They keep changing batons but no output till date. But that does not make them losers ; they are the best of the breed today rewarded well with international assignments. Not sure what are they going to do there now.

    Advice to Management

1.High time you understand that people are your asset and change the way you treat your people. 2.Companies which have started post your launch are roaring with business and see where you guys are. Still struggling to reach a 40 Crore mark. A big shame on you

    Pros

    Hardly that i can think.

    Cons

One of the worst companies i have worked in my career. Every day i have cursed myself for joining this circus. Most unprofessional COO (Mr Pai) and a spineless Delivery Head. Both these jokers do not have prior experience in their roles. COO was a contractor and delivery head (basically a coder) who does not have any branded company which he can claim as his former employer. CEO is a puppet in the hands of COO. The entire delivery is screwed up but finally the blame would only go to the project manager or the delivery manger. The head of delivery (so called the spineless man) is not questioned as he keeps licking the COO

I worked at iCreate Software full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Focused product for banking vertical.

    Cons

No opportunities to learn or grow: The company has very little work left that too mostly of support kind. Most new projects are small enhancements to existing product. So from the point of view of a prospective employee - nothing exiting to look forward to.

Management driven only by self interest : As pointed out by several reviews, the top management is only trying to gain personal benefits at the cost of careers of employees. An advice especially for fresh graduates from top B-schools and engineering colleges (Actually all those who are offered suspiciously high packages or hikes) - Avoid joining this company even if you are wooed with better than industry salary or promise of challenging positions. You will be among the first to get fired citing performance reasons when the real reason for termination is high cost and most likely you will never be paid the promised salary.

Worst HR : HR team lacks minimal people skills required to deal with employees. When employees raise concerns or approach HR with issues, they are told that HR's job is only to respond to queries related to payroll or leaves which are in any case automated processes done by software. Due to unresponsive HR, immature supervisors can get away with verbal abuse including threat to fire a subordinate. HR believes is following shocking practices such as repeatedly calling an employee who is admitted to the hospital to resign so that company could save on paying him/her salary while on medical leave or paying compensation for termination as per company policy.

    Advice to Management

    Stop hiring.
