I have been working at iCrossing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great clients, amazing talent, smart leaders who are moving towards profitability

    Cons

Need to bring in more staff to do the work. Brought in enough senior people, now it is time to bring in people to do the work and support the people that are working hard and long hours to deliver great work. They need help! Good people will burn out and leave!

    Advice to Management

Bring in people to do the work, there are enough senior folks for now

I have been working at iCrossing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - New CEO has a clear vision for the future of iCrossing and, a year after he started, we're starting to reap the reward of the changes that we're implemented in 2015.
    - Can't say enough about the quality and experience of new senior leadership that the CEO has brought in. They have had a positive affect throughout the organization.
    - Starting to pick up some big name new business wins, which we've lacked for a couple of years.

    Cons

    - Agency is still going through a transition and, until that is complete, staffing will likely be tight resulting in longer work hours than people have historically been used to at iCrossing (albeit, in line with other large agencies).
    - While there are a number of strong strategy and analytics resources at iCrossing, the strength of those practices need to be vastly improved for iCrossing to compete as an elite digital agency.

    Advice to Management

I've been at iCrossing for close to four years and, while the changes of the past year have been tough, I've never been more excited for the future of iCrossing. We've always lacked a leader with a clear vision for how iCrossing differentiates itself and that is something that Nick Brien has. If iCrossing can continue the momentum from big new business wins, like Bayer, 2016 and 2017 could be great years for the company.

I worked at iCrossing full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fun place to work. Great place to start career. Work with smart people and big name clients. Descent benefits. Good culture.

    Cons

Teams run lean, which lead to longer hours and unhappy clients. Cant get promoted unless more business comes in or if someone above you leaves.

    Advice to Management

Company Goals way out of reach. Wheres the incentive? Digital media studio is a waste of money. Hire more people that are actually doing the work to keep clients happy. Hire better people.

I worked at iCrossing full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Really smart, committed people
    Fun environment
Scottsdale Office Location (Scottsdale Quarter) was awesome
    Solid benefits; competitive compensation

    Cons

Lack of a true, communicated strategy
Poor planning led to too many layoffs--every year

    Advice to Management

Plan better; communicate frequently and openly, both good and bad news; don't overhear and then have to reduce staff at crunch time.

    Pros

I can't lie, I learned a lot of my skills at iCrossing, especially the finer details of design. I was given opportunities to grow and work on fun projects.

    Cons

The skill set of some higher level management and VP's were surprisingly lacking. Some employees would facebook all day and not pull their weight.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees. They're doing the heavy lifting. Also, management's idea for a project isn't always the right idea, be open to others suggestions.

I have been working at iCrossing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The work life balance at ICrossing is great. You will never get this at any other agency. We have a great group of talented people, but are going through some growing pains now. We have a new CEO that is bringing in some super talented executives at the moment and we are all just waiting to see whats next. The changes they making are good, they have been needed for a long time.

    Cons

The recent changes, its rough, but we are all excited to see what the new executive team does. Their LinkedIN profiles look amazing so we all expect great things.

    Advice to Management

Let's get going and take IC to the next level.

I worked at iCrossing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Learn a lot about SEM/SEO
Great career builder and opens up a lot of opportunities after 2 - 3 years
Can grow a lot, especially if you are smart and work hard
Smart people that genuinely care about your sucess

    Cons

Working with clients can become tiresome, especially if it is a difficult client
Become highly specialized in one field and don't get much exposure to other things
    Can be highly political

    Advice to Management

Allow for more fluid movement among departments, especially with top talent
Stay on top of trends in industry (e.g., move to 3rd party bid management software)
Let go of the politics and promote based on performance
