I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great culture, people and remuneration structure that clearly outlines your objectives to be met. These are followed up with progress updates monthly to keep you focused and on track. I got six appraisals in these three years through its performance appraisal system known as Launchpad, where the appraisal and promotions are in your own hands. The better you perform the further you go.

    Cons

Some employees complain about petty things, don't get hung up on the small stuff! I can't find any negative aspects yet.

I worked at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

iPlace are the best! You should attend atleast one if you work there.

    Cons

    Kiss their feet, get promoted!

Management is useless. They favor those they like or who can run behind them like puppues. You can get away with any sort of trouble if you are friends with the management. But if you're not, you are in deep trouble (kicked out without notice, unbilled, taken off the client.) People who kiss every step management takes, are prioritized and promoted as captains and team leads instead of those who deserve the promotion. Forced to do donkey's work and rewarded with nothing. Some teams, micro-manage employee to the extent that you are required to explain your water/bathroom breaks. Change the management, it's filth.

iPlace could start appreciating employees more, a simple message on the screen doesn't feel like appreciation for all the efforts put in. A different approach to appreciating and rewarding the best performers and hardworkers could help achieve more than targeted revenue.

You can get your leaves approved if you want to go out, party, attend concerts, drug, travel. But you will be denied leave if your family is sick, somebody's on the death bed. They would like you to come to work no matter the consequences, and if you still happen to take an unscheduled or half-day, you will suffer!

Unreal/unachievable weekly/quarterly placement targets set and you lose more than you can gain. There are a thousand ways to lose our progress, but only 2-3 ways to earn stars.

    Advice to Management

Stop favoring losers! Use your brains for a change.
