I worked at iTradeNetwork (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good team, solid product, interesting work

    Cons

Silos by product, chaotic management changes, tribalism by office.

    Advice to Management

Pick a strategy and stay with it for more than six months; try to keep a president for longer than a year (Bonavito has been gone since 2014). Figure out how to market and stop allowing your sales team to give away the product.

    Pros

Nothing! Oh I take that back, most of the employees and MID level managers are great.

    Cons

This is the most toxic company I have ever worked for and the new management may be the most unethical in the business. The new president is nowhere near as transparent as she continually claimed she was and is so disillusioned about her industry knowledge and ability to lead it is laughable. Talk about a company about ready to tank...Look no further the Titanic is here! BY THE WAY, Rob has not been the CEO for years. They are on their 4th leadership group. Nothing says success better than a rotating leadership door. Roper, you really know how to pick'em

    Advice to Management

    KARMA!

    Pros

The new president is unpopular, especially with entrenched employees in Dublin because she is making changes that are necessary. Many employees there have outdated skill sets, lack passion, and are unwilling to innovate, these are the people that have been writing negative reviews. These people have been a drain on the company for years and frankly need to leave.

The new president is focusing on business fundamentals, improving business structure and positioning the company for success.

    Cons

In the Dublin site in particular people work with outdated technology, don't innovate, resist change, and have skillsets from 10+ years ago. Employees need to learn new skills or be replaced with employees with modern skill sets

    Advice to Management

Stay the course on the changes, they are necessary and will help the company

I have been working at iTradeNetwork full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They pay us money and, usually, the amount that gets deposited is correct. Money can be used to pay bills. Not a lot of bills, but some bills.

    Cons

President who is going backwards in time, not listening. Technology that is one step above fire and mud bricks, and a very dubious plan to update this. Uncertainty about the future of the company is rampant "around the water cooler." No possibility of promotion or advancement.

    Advice to Management

Maybe look at what successful companies TODAY are doing, not necessarily what companies 20 years ago were doing?

I have been working at iTradeNetwork full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Most people are friendly. Nice office space but that is about it.

    Cons

Old technology stack and no investment in personnel or tools to do the job. New president is only interested in bringing in her own crew and her ways of doing things from previous employments and does not care about the long term growth or making clients successful. Want to outsource development to contracting firms. The immediate focus is on expense management (which needs to be done but remember you are dealing with people here!), and very little appreciation for the challenges that the employees face to keep the business running with a lean crew.

    Advice to Management

Leverage your employees based on what they can contribute in the new organization structure. It takes time to build a good team so don't blame current employees for the decisions or mistakes from previous management. It is not the employees' fault that they were asked to work on non-profitable product lines. If you don't appreciate your people, you will lose all your good and talented employees.

I have been working at iTradeNetwork full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are some very talented people in the company who want to take pride and provide value for clients. They work hard for mediocre compensation.

    Cons

Multiple company groups due to acquisition and lack of integration. Unhappy clients. Unhappy employees. Lack of company focus or vision. New CEO wields a hatchet when a scalpel is more appropriate. Outsourcing domain expertise jobs to save a buck. Putting key client relationships in jeopardy to generate revenue while providing the same old SAAS options from 2005.

    Advice to Management

The company has the potential to be a leader in food supply chain area. Spend some resources on solutions, building employee knowledge/moral; not a gift card or pizza. Investigate internal people who have knowledge of the industry and clients. It took years of missing leadership to create the current situation so don't fix (or break) things by upending the chess board in the first couple months.

    Pros

Great company: small start-up feel, but mature in IT processes, a leader in the industry, and smart working people in a great team-working environment

    Cons

Some legacy applications remain out dying on the vine, unsupported versions of operating systems and platforms.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, and thank you for acknowledging successes
