The most unorganized and poorly managed company I have worked for. No career paths. High employee turn -over rate. Don't offer growth opportunities for the talented employees. Unqualified or low-skilled employees got promoted.

    Advice to Management

    Need to change management team.

    Pros

The employees are nice and friendly

    Cons

Very poor work environment employees are worked to the bone and there is so much turnover. Not enough resources to accomplish work required. Employees are unhappy but try to stay positive. Upper management does not understand what it takes to run a successful company or how to support its employees. It's is not a place to be at for long term which is why so many people leave. The most unorganized and poorly managed companies I have worked for. Compensation is quite low and should be a lot more as the dork is so demanding and stressful with hardly and balance or time for family.

    Advice to Management

You should listen to what your employees have to say and understand resource allocation so employees are not worked so hard to meet unrealistic expectations to the point where they get sick and have to quit.

    I worked at in-sync group full-time

    Pros

Environment is nice, head management is doing a great job

    Cons

The pay, if you're not included in the inner circle you're most likely not going to enjoy the place, favouritism, way too many meetings that cover the same material, associate strategists are not well trained

I have been working at in-sync group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Fulfilling work (helping and touching people with real impact)
    - Great people to work with (environment is super-friendly)
    - Food culture (for better or for worse)
    - Change is happening (albeit slowly)

    Cons

    - Unclear career paths / messy organization of working groups
    - Low compensation (limited growth in direct relation to undefined roles and career opportunities)
    - Slow to change (top to bottom); it takes a very long time for change to be implemented
    - Resulting in high employee turnover rate (in recent year(s))

    Advice to Management

Objectives set out by management are announced and clear, but oftentimes vague. It is hard to picture change happening quick enough across the entire organization. Stability seems to be shaky towards the future (I cringe every time I see "organizational announcement" in my email inbox).
