    Cons

As with a lot of jobs, changes occur frequently which can be difficult to adjust to, but at the same time this strengthens knowledge of the business and of the industry in general.

    Advice to Management

The job review process is great, focusing on an employees future is very valuable and will keep them motivated.

I have been working at inVentiv Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Well respected Healthcare company with broad reach across clinical, commercial and consulting organizations. Competitive compensation and benefits. Growth oriented.

    Cons

Growth mode means constant changes to processes and information stream is convoluted. Not as great cross functional/intra-agency cooperation as leadership would like to believe.

    Advice to Management

Look for more diversity in leadership in individual companies. Promote growth internally across corporations. Consider an exchange program for Sr. managers/leadership to continue to grow and understand breadth of capabilities across the organization.

I have been working at inVentiv Health (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some good people who really do work as a team. Generally, the atmosphere is/was very laid back

    Cons

All of the above is starting to become a thing of the past. Big shake ups in the upper management are having ripples throughout the company, making it more like a generic corporation in an attempt to attract investors.

    Advice to Management

Don't kill the golden goose. Going public is no excuse for a drop in quality work.

    Pros

Great way to learn the industry and get your foot in the door. Management is super supportive

    Cons

Six month contracts go by really quickly. I felt like I needed to start looking for my next contract or new position after only 3 months on the job. It would be nicer to have a longer guarantee.

I worked at inVentiv Health as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Worked with a group of interns on a project for the company. Very chill work environment, the projects were fun and our manager was constantly providing encouragement and support to us interns.

    Cons

Direction of what we were supposed to be doing sometimes was not clear. Other than that, it was really a pleasure to work at inVentiv.

I worked at inVentiv Health as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, hard working co-workers, fun office environment, structured and professional. All of the perks of working for a big, corporate design firm.

    Cons

Creative work in this field is by nature, not the most glamorous. Plenty of engaging concepts are developed initially, and usually watered down to their safest, most clinical form.
