    I have been working at inVentiv Health as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The company understands the field reps and looks out for their people as a whole. They’re real, not a political atmosphere like other companies have, at least from the field perspective. I hear from my inVentiv manager when it’s necessary, not just to waste my time. I have seen this from multiple inVentiv employees. Great company!

    Cons

    There are two types of pharmaceutical reps: those who have been laid off and those who will. Don’t be naive. Great company, but just assume that your job may not exist tomorrow- this is all at the discretion of the pharmaceutical company you’re representing.

    Company car , fuel card and benefits

    Cons

    More contracts would be a start and also promote with the current employees that have been the company instead of using outside reps that have not been with Inventiv. Past history , reps where transferred to another contract if the ended but InVentiv has abandoned that concept.

    Advice to Management

    Keeps the reps that you have and gain new contracts.

    Pros

    Great CSO! Awesome District Managers and Regional Manager in Midwest. Good collaboration with manufacturers reps, great bonuses and benefits.

    Cons

    Very little follow up from InVentiv recruiters regarding new opportunities/contracts for recently downsized reps.

    Advice to Management

    Retain qualified reps by rolling into new Inventiv contracts.

    Good opportunity for those trying to break into the company. You meet a lot of great contacts as well.

    Cons

    Contract roles that can end without notice. They don't have control over management you could be contacted to work under.

    Advice to Management

    Longevity of contracts is dependent on the sucess and growth of tour potential products, where the product is in its lifecycle, and the overall quality of your direct management.

    Pros

    This is a great company to work for. They are continually trying to improve things & secure more contracts. They also try to reward employees for doing a great job!

    Cons

    The only con I have is that it is a contract & those end. You can only hope that there will be another contract for you to be placed on after the current contract ends.

    - Direct Management - micromanagement and operated out of fear
    - No transparency and no trust was built across management and reps

    Great for transition from B2B to pharmaceutical Sales! Training and comp are competitive. Flexibility and work life balance are pros. MDP available as well as career coaching and career mapping opportunities

    Cons

    Vehicle choices were not conducive in size to accommodate promotional, sample and lunches.
