    Pros

Great pot-lucks and the spamsoap team is always in a great mood! Just about everyone gets not just one, but two monitors! Not very good ones, but two is always better than one.

    Cons

So many pointless meetings about how we feel about the company. If the company is doing a good job, then that does not matter. Instead we get to listen to the execs drone on and on about how great they all are. How anyone foolish enough to leave the company how they were never a team player. Now just about all the long term people have left. Outside of management, there may be 5 people with 5+ years @ inhouseIT....

    Advice to Management

Profits will arrive with a good work ethic. You scare away good people and end up firing the rest. Your Kool-Aid is tainted and now everyone knows it. Maybe just keep on keeping on and turn over the entire staff. Again.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The best part is if you are in the field they give you a car. You can take the car home even. It is a Honda Element. But if you are in Sales or Projects then you can get a Lexus. You just need to talk to the right people. And you also get to take the Lexus home. It is far and away, the best benefit. But you need to ask for it.

    Cons

The biggest con is the CEO and his team of cronies. They seem to want to keep the staff on its toes by constantly firing people. But the bigger problem is that you are in a place that is undergoing change. The old model does not work. They are pushing this "Cloud" solution but it is only the one place they have some kind of backroom deal with. The limitations make me feel dirty and I know that they are NOT doing...

    Advice to Management

Stop. Just stop. Now look around and ask yourself if you have a happy and productive staff? Do not read the survey you force everyone to fill out to make your self feel better. You need to remove yourself from you current role. Walk a mile, you will not make it all the way.

I worked at inhouseIT full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great group of eager and progressively minded technicians. Everyone appears to want to do the right thing the right way. Teams help each other out and there was one time we had a bunch of food trucks in the parking lot.

    Cons

Management is awful. It would be nice to think they are sorting a few things out, but no. They are all just terrible people. There is no one dislike so much that I would suggest they work for inhouseIT. No one I wish that kind of bad treatment, low salary and constant stream of lies. They will fool you into thinking they are a good company. No, they have a handful of people they like, everyone else is expendable....

    Advice to Management

Maybe go on a long, long vacation and let the people who get things done go about getting things done. Stop asking every new employee to write a raving review. We all just delete them and write one just like this. You all are liars and need a reckoning.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

inhouseIT is a place with tons of opportunity. In my years here I have seen people rise from mid-level positions to team leaders, if they show they are motivated and talented individuals. I especially like the team approach to the way problems are solved for clients as well as internally. Nothing is more rewarding then being an appreciated voice inside a company. The past few years have seen big changes at inhouseiT as...

    Cons

Because of the fast-paced culture, I have seen people get worried when they just want things to stay the same.

    Advice to Management

I worked at inhouseIT full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Best support team I have ever had the privilege to work with. Fun place to work, especially Burrito Friday. Exciting and challenging environment. Excellent opportunity to be exposed to and learn a broad base of different technologies.inhouseit. Great customers.

    Cons

Xboxes in lunch room need to be upgraded, Xbox one maybe.

    Advice to Management

Management is actively involving the different teams, in developing better a workplace. Keep involving the teams.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This is by far the best company I have ever worked for. The executive staff and owners are well organized and caring - they notice strengths in their personnel and find multiple ways to help them flourish. Conversely, instead of quickly jumping the gun and reprimanding me when I made some mistakes, the executives took time out of their day to actually give me advice and guidance on how to improve that really positively...

    Cons

Employee reviews are sorely needed. Additional personnel like assistant managers for certain roles would be beneficial.

    Advice to Management

Keep having an open door policy, promoting from within, and embracing ideas.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Based in Orange County, all work is local and therefore no extensive travel is required. The work environment is excellent and continues to have the small company feeling where you know everybody.

    Cons

You have to be able to work independently, in many cases with minimal supervision. Many customers spread through the Orange County area, you will be wearing multiple hats on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep an open door to ensure communication with all your employees.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great working environment. All the employees/management are genuinely good people. The synergy created within this organization makes for a very healthy work environment. The changes made over the last year were designed to take this company to the next level and it seems to be working. I took this position because of the corporate culture that was described to me and found it to be true very quickly. The owners seem...

    Cons

This is a tough one. I have never been one to focus on Cons. I believe everyone should take responsibility for their own actions and in retrospect recognize how their own actions affect any outcome that would be considered a Con. This is why I find it so annoying to see some of the other reviews here. Especially from folks that list that they are current employees. Man up and quit if you are unhappy or recognize your...

    Advice to Management

Continue on the path that you have begun. Continue to recognize folks for their hard work and their contribution to the success of the company. Continue to add new solutions that we can offer to our clients. .....oh one last thing....Send all the employees to Cabo for a week. (ok that was a joke.)

    Pros

Most of the co-workers are great.

    Cons

No leadership, Executive Team has their own processes and there is no consistency. They don't care for you as an individual and expect a 24/7 commitment.

I have been working at inhouseIT full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They have one of the coolest offices I have ever been in. Super mod and a collaborative setting. Parking is easy most days and very close to SNA. They do NOT require wearing a tie.

    Cons

Management is the only real con. They say one thing an do another. They change directions for reasons not visible and in the end, they seem to clean house regularly. There is almost no here with more than 3 years on the job. It is very difficult to understand history when all the historians have been eliminated. Seems like they treat most people with an expiration date.

    Advice to Management

Stop firing people all the time for personal reasons. This is a business, treat people with respect. When a member of senior management makes a mistake, why do you fire one of the Indians when it is the chief to blame? Take a look at your pay scales, ask yourself why you pay 20% below industry standards. Improve moral and that does not mean attempting to prevent honest reviews here on Glassdoor.
