I have been working at inlingua International part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Making wonderful relationships with students. Learning about different cultures. Developing teaching experience. Having fun with students.

    Cons

Sometimes, the book does not always present the grammar lessons in a simple way for students in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

    None

I have been working at inlingua International for less than a year

    Pros

Gain experience that you can use in another job that can provide benefits. Tutors have flexible hours and you can work anywhere. My center has a really nice director and administrator.

    Cons

Absolutely no benefits, absolutely no job security, and you're not even considered an employee. If you need to pay bills, don't get this job. If you are retired and want something to do in your free time and maybe a little extra money, this might work for you.

    Advice to Management

Teachers are disposable to you, but isn't it expensive hiring new teachers all the time? If you give benefits, more people will stick around.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at inlingua International full-time

    Pros

Great students and lots of variety. All ability levels levels and some kids classes. Lots of books and resources to use to prepare for classes.

    Cons

Will have to work Saturday and Sundays if you want make a good salary. Sometimes students cancel at short notice.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time to introduce staff to each other. If new staff can feel happy at the school they may stay longer.
