    I worked at iwoca

    Pros

The team are incredibly smart, they take a lot of pride in what they do, and it's great to work alongside them. One of my favourite things about working there, was that while the team took their work seriously, they didn't take themselves seriously at all, and would always be the first to laugh at themselves. Cons

It can feel a little chaotic at times, and if you're not used to having a lot of responsibility then you may find it challenging.

    Advice to Management

Simply keep doing what you're doing. From the look of the other reviews on Glassdoor, it obviously seems to be working.

I worked at iwoca full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Flexible Hours - Good company atmosphere - Great tech atmosphere - Smart and experienced colleagues - Opportunity to learn thanks to all the cutting edge technologies the system is using - Management open to new technologies or ideas if it can be applied to the system - Ping pong table/Pool table

    Cons

    - Pressure is quite high (not for delivering the fastest but for fearing of breaking anything) - Problems aren't alway solved proactively which leads to history repeating itself - Personal growth didn't feel like it mattered very much - Lack of vision for the system future

    Advice to Management

Monitoring wellbeing of employees and making sure everyone is happy. Monthly review should give focus points and things that could be improved even if not mandatory.
