I have been working at kate spade part-time

    Pros

Fantastic discount, 50% off full and 30% off sale, wardrobing and 50/50s. The people I work with are so sweet and everyone gets along very well, I also get pretty good hours for being part time, sometimes even up to 30.

    Cons

The hourly pay could be a bit better, but it could also be worse I suppose, it's pretty decent for the work you do as a part timer. Customers can also be rude and cheapskates too, which makes it a bit difficult to sell sometimes.

    Pros

Great environment and perks. Lots to learn,:systems and processes. Great training programs. Team effort was definitely appreciated. Everyone had specified roles and the department was ok with working from home once a week

    Cons

Takes too long to get projects approved. Constant fear of being laid-off. There was genuine anxiety in the air. Despite the continuous efforts from the corporate executives each quarter there was talk of lay-offs

    Advice to Management

    Accelerate projects

I worked at kate spade part-time

    Pros

The discount was good, 1/2 off full price handbags and 30% off sale items and you were able to stack discounts. (Got a $460 purse for $69)

    Cons

Very fast-paced (could be good or bad) and high sale goals.

    Advice to Management

Salary pay for the employees could be better.

    Pros

The discount and wardrobing was AMAZING! The product was my favorite couldn't find better in my opinion! I'm still a shopper!

    Cons

Not enough growth opportunities. There was also no development of current talent or action plans for succession. If you want your employees to feel appreciated as valued help them with their development!

    Advice to Management

Lead by example. Don't not come back from break, go get lunch for your kids and just sit in the back all day.
