I worked at lululemon part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked for Lululemon at two different locations for about 3 years total and my experience as an "Educator" was much better than I was expecting it to be. First of all, it didn't even feel like a job to me due to the fact that I actually had fun working there. The people they hire tend to be very down to earth and the whole staff is very supportive. I particularly enjoyed the vision and goals workshops we would all do together, it helped me put my goals in better perspective. I can go on and on, but overall, I learned a lot from this company and my experience there has changed my life for the better.

    Cons

The only con I have about working there was that we couldn't use our discounts for our family except for Christmas, but I 've heard this rule has long been changed and that they are able to now. Other than that, none I can think of!

I have been working at lululemon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Work/life balance
    - Growth and development opportunities
    - Great pay
    - Workout benefits

    Cons

    - Late mall hours, especially during holidays
    - Parking during holidays
    - Allow very limited availability changes

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. I find that people with negative experiences regarding employment were typically the no-calls/no-shows, consistently late people, or those that routinely ignored their duties as an employee. Then they can't fathom why they were performance managed and/or fired... As someone with a family and family responsibilities, my managers at lululemon have always been understanding and easy to work with, as long as I had enough personal responsibility to get things covered (babysitter, leave for work on time, request off dates in advance, find shift coverage when needed, etc...) - the things people often neglect to do or blame on excuses.

    Cons

It can be difficult to get as many hours as I'd like, and I know this is a common problem for other employees as well.
