I worked at lululemon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent company to work for. I felt valued as an employee and pushed towards my own self care, which doesn't seem to really happen in most work environments. I loved the community events and feeling like part of team.

    Cons

There seemed to be some scheduling conflicts, and a bit of chaos. The store had just opened, so I think it was due to that.

I have been working at lululemon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great sense of community based around exercise. High energy and fun to go to work if you enjoy meeting new people.

    Cons

Can come off a bit cultish. Experience obviously depends on individual stores employees and their personality, leadership traits, etc.

I worked at lululemon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The wonderful community you get to be apart of! You are introduced to all the key players in your local yoga community.

    Cons

Once you become a salaried employee you work way more hours than compensated for. It's easy to get over worked and stay focused on why you love your job.

    Advice to Management

Push for less off clock commitments so your leaders don't get over worked.

I have been working at lululemon part-time

    Pros

    Great people and work environment.

    Cons

Compensation is not the best for an aspiring luxury brand

    Advice to Management

Maintain and grow communication with educators. Allowing them to feel heard improves involvement with the company. Educators that love the brand, product, and company culture will definitely convey that to the all the guests they interact with.

I worked at lululemon (Less than a year)

    Pros

    People. Pay. Workout benefits. Clothes.

    Cons

Availability was a little difficult for school, reason I wasn't able to stay on.

    Advice to Management

I absolutely LOVED working here. I was a holiday hire, and was offered to stay on, however we came to an agreement it would be best for me to not continue. I am a double major and have an internship, and Lululemon is big on work life balance. I have nothing negative to say about the company. I loved the people I worked with, they became a family really quick. I was also given a lot of responsibility for being new. I even got to make our Boxing Day flyer. I loved the workout benefits, the atmosphere, and of course the discount. I wish that I had found the job sooner. I would love to go back!
