I worked at muvee Technologies full-time

    Pros

This company has excellent culture, flexible working hours and great employee benefits. The office is comfortable and everyone is very friendly.

    Cons

None that I've known except that there are a lot of competition in this area. Very niche product and hard to penetrate into the mass market.

    Advice to Management

    Expand the product portfolio

    Pros

Some products come pre-assembled, batteries included; others are made to be tinkered with.

    Cons

This category of products goes to those projects pushing the boundaries of connected technologies on their own terms or for the greater good.

    Pros

Nice office and fun place to work.

    Cons

It is best that one has an outspoken personality, verbal and willing to engage and schmooze with management. Probably a good place for engineers who are willing to listen to management and their idosyncratic decisions, fresh graduates (not for old experienced hands). Decisions can be very political and personal. Management has pets. Flat structure. Company not sure if they want to be a cool startup or an established company.

I worked at muvee Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Startuppy environment, cutting edge technology

    Cons

Late on the mobile B2C apps bandwagon. What Instagram had in 2010-11, Muvee had in 2006-7 but completely failed to sell it.

    Advice to Management

    none

I worked at muvee Technologies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Colleagues are very friendly and helpful. It's a small company so you get to know pretty much everyone
    - Fun environment
    - Your work directly contributes to the business
    - The company is very flexible in terms of hours and employees maintain a really good work-life balance (my boss can work from home to support his wife in taking care of the children)

    Cons

    - Responsibility of interns is fairly simple so there might not be a lot of room for learning

    Cons

Small product base company but still they are trying there level best to give to employee. I don't have much to say as cons as everything is at best there. No hard feeling for them

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

It is certainly where realities and fundamentals are more valued and feedback is considered honestly, that's where you are heard and your views are discussed.

    Cons

Not much beyond a single product, all toiling towards it while creativity has bitten to dust. Definitely not a hot and happening place, being a veteran in the field, legacy problems haunt it lot than finding a way out.

    Advice to Management

As with many companies, management has been late to realize that businesses go through cycles. Prudence in decision making and spending the money just and right is what is needed all through the life of a business.

Except the top management, middle managers are shallow and never bother to take up the charge, probably the very reason that they knew there is no progress further up.
