I worked at ooShirts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The coworkers are the only pro to this job, and good coworkers can be found just about anywhere.

    Cons

The system does not work. It is built on lies to the customer that you as a customer service rep must continue to uphold knowing full well they will have to call again the next day only for you to lie to them again. This job actually gave me a mental breakdown that forced me to seek out therapy. I'm not joking.

    Advice to Management

    File bankruptcy.

    Cons

No customer service policies at all. You are basically there to tell the Ooshirts customers that they are screwed and stuck with a poorly made shirt

I worked at ooShirts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Perfect for budding sociopaths who would like to get paid to watch customers suffer!

    - The systems are so archaic and fundamentally opposed to customer service, the frustration becomes so overwhelming that it eventually becomes a tragic comedy.

    Cons

    - Too many to cite, but I'll try to summarize. The systems and policies are designed in such a way that a customer will almost never get their shirt on the date the company has promised to deliver it. You have almost no tools whatsoever to actually serve a customer, just take their money and tell them that the mistake ooShirts made just is what it is. Sorry, tell your friends!

    - Every customer you encounter has past the point of being enraged to simply being baffled. There is a customer service number that literally takes them nowhere. LiveChat is typically only manned by one or two people, so very few customers suffer out the long wait to get to them. The E-mail system is like a mass grave of orders, where most e-mails won't be seen for days, and responses get dumped back into a general queue after 12 hours. They will put a hold on your order for nearly any reason you can think of, and an immediate response will find you lucky to have your order delayed only a week. It's nearly impossible for the customer to actually reach you.

    - The complete and utter powerlessness of employees and management alike causes a very apathetic tone to set in very quickly. Nearly every employee who had been there for more than a month simply didn't care at all anymore that every customer they encountered was being taken for a ride and there was nothing at all they could do about it.

    - Your soul will be drained from you daily.

    Advice to Management

Most of the management was actually pretty cool, just totally powerless and basically apathetic to that fact. So my advice to you folks is RUN AWAY!

I worked at ooShirts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro is that you can do whatever you want and get away with it. No discipline and supervisors walk around and bark orders like they own the place.

    Cons

Poor pay, belittlement by upper management. The way people speak to each other is disgusting. Company needs a complete overhaul. The big wigs of the company need to start treating employees like people rather than numbers.

    Advice to Management

Learn your employees. If someone is good at their job, give them some incentive to keep doing a good job. That's why everyone hates working here. Company policy is, "why pay people more when we can fire them and find someone else to do it for the same pay rate?"

I worked at ooShirts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There were a lot of free shirts (misprints that were returned.) The company had a cool outing once--but that was paid for by a vendor, not the company.

    Cons

It was cool when I started, but managent changed and it became progressively worse. People started quitting left and right, and the wrong people were hired. Also, the free shirts were there for a reason (poor quality, wrong print,etc.). The job meant dealing with lots of angry customers.

    Advice to Management

You need quality people. Also, you need to learn to have empathy and treat all your employees equally AND as human beings would have done wonders.
