    Discount, knowing about the sales/clearance items before customers, coworkers

    messy management. Store manager left and several other managers left and all new people were hired in the store to fill their positions and did not know what they were doing

    One of the cons of working for Rue21 was not being able to grow in the company like I wanted to, and also the drive was unbearable.

    Low pay and fragrances are a must which can be hard if nobody really wants to buy them your hours get cut

    I worked at rue21 part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    My coworkers were the best, they made the environment much more enjoyable and I loved coming to work.

    Cons

    I had wish they paid me more. They made it clear they loved me there and enjoyed my presence and work ethic, but never really showed me through my paychecks.

    Advice to Management

    Whomever is there now, ensure you provide a great experience for the rest of the associates. It really makes a difference and will have your employees there longer.
